Bethany College — Local services in Lindsborg

I would like to clarify that I enjoyed my time here. I learned a lot and made great memories. However, they recruited me with the notion that Bethany cared. But sadly, it no longer does. There are still amazing faculty here that I adore, yet it doesn't stop the fact that they don't care. Not anymore. For example: they just fired 7 faculty members and made zero announcement about it. I checked. One of which helped me through some very difficult moments when I didn't want to stay at the college anymore. Who also took me and others with our major on trips and to conferences that made me happy to be a Swede. Another was a staple in the community, the college itself, and many, many students' lives. I went to the graduation less than a month before they fired people, and there was zero indication of this decision. Both of whom made such impacts that the college has already received countless letters less than 24 hours since the firing. And thats only due to people telling them what happened since Bethany hasn't put this on their social media accounts. Nearly every single student who attends here will tell you they either came for certain professors or stay and deal with everything due to their professors. Now you can't even rely on them to keep those incredible teachers. Basically, you have no idea what you're getting into because Bethany itself doesn't know. I used to be proud to say what college I went to. Now I'm not. So I can't recommend this right now. Again, there are professors still there who are insanely good. Ones I still brag about to my friends today about what they taught me and how much they cared. However, I'm not even sure Bethany will keep them at this rate. It pains me to write this review, but when I attended Bethany and saw its problems firsthand, I thought they were working to fix them. Yet it just kept spiraling. They would turn a blind eye to serious safety concerns that I won't mention in a public review like this. Every campus has its faults, yet it's this one that makes me doubt it'll work towards fixing them. P.S. I promise you whatever the tuition says it is, when you attend this college the price will go up. It went up every single year...

An overpriced mom and pop college with little connection to market demand. You can go to Rice University in Texas with this tuition.. There is no major offered here except basic science, dance and arts. Many faculties does not have a Phd, and the higher administration is corrupt. The provost, associate provost and the college president does not have a PhD. Can you believe that? The town is terribly boring. There has been incidences of rape and racist graffiti on campus....

Inappropriate music played during sporting events is not family friendly. If it can’t be played on the radio, it shouldn’t be played at an event where children are...
