China Restaurant — Restaurant in Lindsborg

While in town this weekend, a few of the other restaurants we stopped at were very busy and had a wait for our larger party. Across the street we noticed this restaurant and no wait. We stopped in and it was a pretty plain looking Chinese restaurant. We weren't sure if we should order at the counter or if there would be service so I grabbed some menus from the front to start browsing and shortly after someone came over to take our order. The food was good and the portions were huge. We were unable to take leftovers with us on the road, but there would have been enough for second meals for most of us! I really hate to write bad reviews but because I got sick, I have to. I ate my meal which was good and a good value for the price, but as I was finishing it, a female worker went to the bathroom. I heard the toilet flush and she immediately came out, clearly without washing her hands. This basically ruined my meal and the following evening, I became ill, which I assume was from the food as it was the only meal I ate that day besides Cheerios. I cannot express how important it is for food preparers to wash their hands in all situations and I hope the staff here can be more careful and learn better...

Stopped at China Restaurant for lunch while exploring Lindsborg. We were promptly greeted by the owners who served us our drinks. The food came out quickly and was fresh. It seems a lot of their orders are takeout but it was a nice place to dine-in.
