Lino Lake Tobacco Store — Local services in Lino Lakes

DO NOT GO THERE! Employee almost assaulted me. I was picking pipe tobacco when he started yelling "they all the same!" I said I'll choose what I want to buy thank you. I Picked two bags and put the third back and turned around to find him behind me. I asked if he wanted me as a customer or not, and he then demanded the two bags, pointed to the door and told me to "Get the F** out!" I gave him the bags, walked toward the door with him behind me and heard two noises sounding like he was spitting on me. I looked behind to see him make a fist, raise his arm and he then threw two punches pulling them short to threaten me while making this spitting sound with his mouth. I wasn't sure if he spit on me or not so I went to the Lino Lakes Police department, but being Christmas eve day they were closed. I looked at my coat and couldn't find any spit so I decided to let it drop, but I've never seen such anger In any person before in my life. I swear he looked as if he wanted to kill me and I believe he would of if he could. Stay away! This is one angry and possibly dangerous guy. The worst part is I think he is one of the owners. Please stay away people. This Store is under new management as of about4 to 5 months ago so any review prior to then were for the old owners who I never had a problem with. So ignore the older reviews. Totals stars for these new owners adds up to ONE and do not even...

I am a huge fan of the fair prices here at this Tobacco store. I live in St Paul, but work in Lino Lakes... one day I needed tobacco, it was only a few blocks off 35W(pretty much on my way to the freeway) so I stopped, and am I so glad I did.... To give this a little context, I buy a small bag of The Good Stuff rolling tobacco every few weeks and have been doing so for a good many years. The entire time, one small bag has ranged from $9.99 to $11.99 (the latter price usually at some swanky type smoke shop downtown let's say) but generally a bag of tobacco cost me $10... until early 2023 when everything shot up in price! Now a bag of the exact thing cost on average $15!! And that includes the small regular person tobacco shops i usually frequent, located in St Paul. I was bummed but wrote it off as inflation, UNTIL I recently stop at this tobacco shop in Lino Lakes, by my work... and what do I find but a perfectly Good Stuff bag of tobacco for $9.99!! I am once again a happy camper PLUS one of those long winded Google Maps comintator. Lol!! 5 starts to you Lino Lakes Tobacco for continuing to keep your prices reasonable regardless of what everyone else is...

I’m new to the area and have visited this establishment half a dozen times. EVERY time I have walked in, it has taken the employee 1-2 minutes to walk out of the back room. This would be permissible if they were busy and cataloging inventory but this is doubtful. When I ask for my cigarettes of choice, they are thrown down on the counter like I am an inconvenience. I say “please” and “thank you”, because that was how I was raised and I get no response. Horrible business. Go ANYWHERE else besides this place. I spent 20 years in retail and if this is how they treat customers, they are not...
