I was passing through town on a six-day loop of some Minnesota rail trails when I stopped in to sit out a thunderstorm and see about replacing a broken brake-adjust screw. They gave me a dry place to rest and quickly replaced the screw, and in the process indulged my curiosity by showing me how the screw can be replaced without also replacing the cable. While I waited for the storm to subside they also were very helpful with advice on the best route to Brainerd where I could pick up the Paul Bunyan trail, and they even called around to friends of theirs to track down current information on the status of trail construction in the Hackensack area. The best way to know the quality of a business is how you are treated you when you need help with a problem, or want to learn the mechanics of how to fix it. David generously offered adjustments when I needed a few modifications for a more comfortable ride. He helped me understand the source of my squeaking brakes and how to correct the problem. He also took all the time I needed to answer a multitude of questions regarding the care and maintenance of my e-bike. Back on Labor Day, I noticed my back bike fork had a complete break in it. I had bought it 4 years ago at a local shop that had gone out of business this past summer. Panicked, I did some searching and found that Dave sold and serviced my kind of bike. By Tuesday, I had dropped my bike off with a very friendly Dave.
