I am so happy to have found Highlands Ranch Orthodontics. I am a dental hygienist who was looking for an airway focused orthodontic practice for my son. I wanted an orthodontic team who has a strong understanding of the links between optimal breathing and the long-term health benefits.

I was impressed from the time I made the first appointment. It was easy to make the initial appointment that was convenient for my schedule, and we did not have to wait long. Cece was very thorough in collecting all the data needed for a comprehensive evaluation.

I am very "picky" on the oral care my son receives. Mostly because I have been in the dental field for almost 20 years, I have seen lots of good dentistry and lots of bad dentistry.

Dr. Schiro was able to answer all of my questions and explain her rationale for her treatment plan, all the while being friendly and personable.

All of the staff is knowledgable from the front office staff to Shasta the dental assistant. Shasta is a vital part of the team and has an eye for detail.

I have an extremely complex dental situation and Dr. Havener spent over 2 hours with me, giving me an extremely thorough exam. Unlike most doctors, he dictated his chart notes in my presence and asked me for clarification when necessary so I knew exactly what went in my record. As well, he is one of the few among a dwindling number of orthodontists in the country, comparatively speaking, who is highly trained in the Roth Williams approach to joint function and occlusion. This protocol helps to establish the health and function of the jaw joints such that it maximizes the likelihood for the best treatment outcome. He was very candid with me about my situation and overwhelmingly compassionate in light of all I've endured. Cease, his assistant was also very warm and friendly and together they made the painful experience of having to seek ongoing treatment one of renewed hope in the humanity of the dental profession. I can’t say enough positive things about Dr. Schiro and the staff here at Highlands Ranch Orthodontics!! From helping me through navigating a very confusing and frustrating insurance situation, to comforting my son who doesn’t tolerate discomfort well - everyone has been so patient, kind, encouraging, and supportive! The office is gorgeous and clean, and the team is extremely knowledgeable and efficient. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and well informed - I’ve even received after hour calls from Dr. Schiro, just wanting to check in on my son (he did not enjoy getting impressions taken earlier in the day 😆). And I can’t forget to mention one of my favorite parts about this office…. Culper!!!!
