Shepherd's Gate New Life Store — Local services in Livermore

I just moved to Livermore 6 weeks ago and visited this store a few times. I wanted to buy little things to decorate my newly created succulent garden. The last few times, there were no incident. Today, the manager accused me of swapping their price tags on the items that I about to buy.

I picked three items: The first item has 1 tag The second item has 2 tags with 2 different prices The third item has 2 tags with 2 different prices

If I really swapped the price tags why didn't I remove the expensive price tags? Why didn't the store manager thinks logically before open her mouth? I asked the store manager to watch the video while I am in the store to prove if I swapped the price tags. Did she ever ask herself why there are multiple price tags with different prices on them, and if I swap them, why the more expensive price tag is still on there? I never steal anything and got very upset for something that I didn't do.

I feel betrayed because I donated my clothes, bags, and household items to this store. I also told them that I would like to volunteer to help them during my early visit.

Too bad, I like to get unique items from this store for my succulent garden, but I will never go back to this store again. I cannot believe that people who believes in God but has no problem accursing others for something they didn't do without any evidence. If I am WHITE, I am sure, the store manager (who is white) would be more careful with their words. I don't support discrimination against people skin...

I buy from here but this isn’t a true thrift store when those of us with low income can’t afford to shop there. They want $$$ for donated used purses, used cosmetics and perfumes at retail price, that’s ridiculous. The name of the purse shouldn’t matter, when they are given to you to sell to people that can’t afford them anywhere else. Most of the staff are nice but, they are all about making money and nothing more. It’s not a light uplifting atmosphere in that store. Sad to see the overpriced item's such as a plain white scarf with it's price tag still on being priced at $16.00. It was a nice thrift store a couple years back. Would be nice if they would go back in honoring the lord and savior jesus christ and back to their humble beginnings where they started next to grocery outlet.
