Department of Natural Resources — Local services in Livingston Township

Currently. August 8 2024. Ostego state park campground and day beach is full of broken washroom and shower facilities. Many out of order bathroom components. Missing soap dispensers, washroom buildings with no lights on, toilet stall doors missing latches latches, and Many camp showers that have no spray and spraying ones with no hot water. There is no activity I can see of plumbers or other staff trying to resolve these issues. Even the newer south facility building is extensively nonfunctional. We get DNR park passes every year and camp in summer and fall but if this is the new quality going forward I will be sticking to Ohio...

A blessing to our state, the DNR looks over our parks, forest, lakes, rivers and of course all our beautiful wildlife. To be able to see, hunt, fish, photograph, hike, off road riding and enjoy is because of tireless work so many at the DNR do day in day out. It is the rangers duty to protect and maintain our land for future generations to come. My wish is they all do what is best for our state. Not any political theater for any politician to use for self gain.
