Kohl's — Local services in Livingston Township

Had a rude cashier that chastised me in front of the customer’s in front of me. Tossed her hand in my face and with a flippant tone told me she wasn’t ready for my purchases, when all I did was take them out to hold them. Having been humiliated I had a manager brought up and she was even worse. Insisted she seen the whole thing when she DID NOT. Customers started accumulating in line at this point when there were none when the incident originated. They began yelling at me what happened didn’t when in fact they had not been in line at the time. The cashier snickered when I began telling the manager what happened. All this became me trying to explain my humiliation and things got heated. The "manager" just would not hear me. She insisted I was wrong. As I got louder explaining and defending myself I was refused service and told to leave. My 24 year old nephew was with me and witnessed the entire thing. I have never in my life been through something like this before. I’m a pleasant person and have always treated persons waiting on me with respect. I was by no means looking for this to happen. I’m not a "Karen". I contacted corporate, canceled my card and cut it up. This could have turned out so much better had the cashier not snickered and the "manager" actually...

I think it's bogus when you earn Kohl's cash and you have a minimal amount of time to spend it. I spent almost $1,000! You expect me to turn around and spend my Kohl's cash of a few hundred a mere few weeks later? Really?!? What's wrong with you?!? I earned that! It's not like a coupon expiring! That's ridiculous and you know it! It's repulsive and I refuse to shop at your place of business any further. You're a dirty, dirty, dirty company. I bought tights at your place that had a funky tag and I went to return them and even though it showed up on my credit card you REFUSED to take it back bc you said it wasn't your product EVEN THOUGH YOU CHARGED ME FOR IT! I found it in a bin. ALSO what grinds my gears about how dirty you are is the fact that I will pay full price for something but because I used Kohl's cash on something else MONTHS AGO on a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PRODUCT, you won't give me my full price back for said product! One year ago I exchanged a diamond ring because some of the smaller diamonds fell out. I decided on another ring and a year later the main diamond fell out. I took it back to Kohl’s one year and one day later to have them either exchange or repair. I did not want money back, just fixed. I would have done sooner but was on vacation out of the country and that is where it fell out.

They refused to do anything about it. They said their policy has changed to 180 days for returns and that even if it had not changed, it was past one year! So I spent $1000 on a ring that one year later has no diamond!! Not to mention the same thing happened one year ago.
