Apna Bazaar — Local services in Longwood

I am writing this review for the people who visiting this store and for the owner of the store. I usually buy meat. Once I went to there with my husband and personally ordered meat, it was good. Next time, we decided to call before going to there because it is one hour driving for us. This time, the meat was awful they gave us very old meat, they mixed the fresh meat with the old meat. When we called, they said we have fresh meat, but when got it and came home, the meat was very very old even the color of meat was kind of dark red. They are just Muslim in the appearance not from inside. YES, they play Quran, they have long beard, and they are saying Allhamdullah, Mashallah, but they are not real Muslim because real Muslim never says lie and cheat on the people. Please practice being a Muslim from within not just in the appearance. One more thing, the store is so dirty. Everything is so...

I went in to get food at the Thai Halal hot food counter. They offer about 10 dishes plus have some egg rolls and samosas in the case. I asked what people love and was told the Thai fried rice, stir fried noodles with chicken or beef, the crispy fish, and the noodles with meatballs. I never had Asian noodles with meatballs before so I chose that and took it home. I asked for medium and there was a nice tingle that added flavor and left a pleasant burn. The dish was totally delicious, the sauce and meatballs were both terrific. 💯 would order again. Beware !!!!! worst place to buy your grocery/meat from here, most of the items sold here are very old/ with crossed expiry dates.

I had very bad experience 3 times. Bought rice from here for the first time , opened the bag saw worms and insects in it, second time the rice had pungent smell unfortunately we had already consumed some of it later entire family fell sick.

3rd time bought some sweet from here later realized it was very old.

The owner of this place is very rude and refused to refund my money. Anyways I left the items at his place and walked out without any refund. Will never ever go here, will not recommend this place to anyone.
