This is a wonderful little kava bar with a few great things that help make it stand out from the competition:
18 and over. This is nice because at the other kava bar I frequent, there's kids running around or even young children crawling on the floors and screaming/crying. Why is this even happening?... I don't know, but it's nice that it is never an issue here.
Drink menu and selection is very well rounded. As expected, they have tasty kava and kratom drinks (my girlfriend and I love the mule). As a bonus there's some Delta 9 canned drinks, coffee/ espresso, and all natural canned energy. My favorite thing is they have additional options that are in neutral territory, so neither a stimulant or relaxant. This consists of tasty coconut water, and there's some other canned elixir things that are refreshing as well as kombucha. For me this is a HUGE bonus because sometimes I'm cracked out on caffeine and just want something refreshing that isn't going to act as an upper or downer. 👍
Staff/management are all wonderful and kind humans. They remember your name, your drink order and will talk to you versus only conversing to sell you things. I feel very welcome here and relaxed, all smiles and love from staff + management.
The environment is cozy and relaxed. There are tables and chairs, couches, 2 pool tables, a long bar with seating and a power outlet at the end. The music is never blasting loud and obnoxious, I like a low/moderate volume that blends into the background. As I type this at 4pm, there's some mellow indie rock playing in the background so it's a nice place to study and get some work done.
This location is relatively new, but they have tons to offer. I would suggest you check it out, have some drinks and ask about any events they have going on. There's a board game and nerd night coming up in early November (Nov 5th) which is going to be...
Read moreAbsolutely THE best place! The owners, tenders, atmosphere, vibes, drinks and the ppl that go here to hang out- are the best around town and even outside of town. Been to a few places in my life time and this one is top tier All around. The prices are good for the quality compared to all the other places. Very clean and a nice big sized location. They have certain hours for happy hour discounts- 1st hr of opening, 4-6, and last hr before closing. Love that they utilize the big windows in the front for the sunshine to come in during the earlier hrs or keep the lights dim for the later hrs, have pool tables, great music, couches, big comfy chairs around tables, dog friendly, snacks, games, tvs & even a tv connected to Nintendo switches to play with friends on the couch. They have their bigger events every month plus everyday specials or events! You must check out Sodo in Longwood if you are into the tea culture. It’s like a second place of home for us. Very welcoming and just a great spot to hangout that’s alcohol free. They also have a downtown Orlando location (haven’t been to that one yet - heard it was just a little smaller). Wish they were kid friendly again (but of course, some ppl ruined it for the other people). Either way best spot to go and check out!...
Read moreIt was my first time here and I wish I had come here much sooner. Not that many people in there Sunday midday-which was still nice to chill and hangout with a friend. The prices were reasonable. I think the business could benefit from offering more food/bite/coffee options, even if they were premade sandwiches/bakery goods. The pool tables and game area were a nice plus. Lots of available seating. I liked the music they were...
