Tom's Outdoor Furniture — Local services in Los Altos

They took my money and never delivered the items. I ordered a round glass guard and a fire pit cover (over $500 worth of merchandise) on June 16, 2019 with the assurance that it would be delivered in 2-3 weeks. I called on July 8 and was told it would be in by July 12 and that a rep from Tom's would call me back. No call back, no delivery. I called on July 23 and was told again that the delivery would be in that week and they would call me back. No delivery, no call back. My husband called on July 26 and was told it would be delivered by July 29 and they would call him back. No call back. He called them again today and was told that they would check with the manufacturer and call him back. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE! They are not reliable.

Update: After posting this review, the items we purchased were delivered and everything is working in good order. They also threw in a protective canvas cover for the table, which is helpful. It shouldn't have taken as much time and effort as it did, but I'm glad the issue was...

We were looking for outdoor furniture everywhere! online, local, everywhere! We have looked for furniture at lots of different places and compared prices, not just that they have best pricing available but also high quality teak furniture. I found there products much heavier and thicker and good looking. Would definitely recommend. They have huge showroom with HUGE variety, so you can physically look at what you are purchasing, and we were able to configure a set for ourselves based on our individual/personal needs. They let you move the chairs and tables and benches around (mix and match) and decide what ‘you’ want. And not to mention the level of customer service, Best!!! They took care of all our demands. I bought a dry sauna from this place on clearance. It turns out it was a grey market sauna and the heater is not UL listed. I can't use it without potential legal ramifications if a fire were to originate from the non-safety inspected heater. Had I known this were the case, I wouldn't have purchased. And the owner didn't share this crucial information at the time of purchase.

After contacting the owner later, he said the heater was thrown in as a bonus. Right! As if anybody would buy a sauna without heater. Of course this little "bonus" detail was not shared either.

At any rate, this review is my last recourse after trying to resolve it personally.

Buyer beware on this place. You can get a lot of what this place sells off...
