This review comes from being attracted to some of the shirts on the rack that were $5 , and to my eyes was the number friendly. As we walked in we were taken back by the customization on every piece of garment from jeans, to tops, and these cute tie around scarf/ collar pieces that I have never seen made. I don’t remember if we were greeted but I do remember someone working the sewing machine and another person sitting across talking about business and drama around the store when people are looking around. Which in my opinion is unprofessional, as we made our way out this part shocked me we say thank you and after we left we were looking at some of the shirts on the $5 rack. And we heard the door lock behind us and saw a person staring at us in a really rude and insane way. As a person of color if you value and want to wear clothes that vibrates good energy keep going down melrose because this place is not it. That was the most disrespectful behavior from an adult I have experienced in my life.

Always an amazing experience dealing w Halsey and Geege. They are both so creative. I came in with just a basic idea for a shirt design. They sat and talked me through their process and ended up making my idea so much better than it initially was and it came out so good! Will definitely be coming back for future projects.
