Dales Jr Market — Local services in Los Angeles

This is my local spot for any booze or snacks/grocery items I need whenever I'm in a hurry or don't feel like driving. Although the prices are a bit higher than a big Grocery Store or a Bevmo (maybe a 10-20% markup), the convenience factor usually makes it worth it.

In regards to booze, their beer selection is quite impressive...they have all the regular stuff (Budweiser, Coors, etc.), but they all have a decent selection of craft brews. Their wine selection is also quite decent, with multiple aisles nicely arranged.

The liquor selection is equally sufficient and you can usually find whatever bottle you're looking for. Lastly, the grocery/food/snack selection is limited, but it'll cover all your basic needs.

The staff is great...always friendly and polite. They've been in the area for a while (I've been here for 20+ years) and have become a staple in the neighborhood. Hope they stay around for many...

Neighborhood market and liquor store in Playa del Rey. Wide selection of liquors and wines is available at competitive prices versus the big grocery store chains. The produce section is stocked with good quality fruits and vegetable though the selection is not as extensive as a typical chain grocery store.

That said, this is exactly the sort of store that every neighborhood should have for small, everyday shopping. Nothing fancy here, but everything you might need to get just in time to make dinner, and not have to drive to a crazy parking lot somewhere!

Today I was informed by my bank that 3 fraudulent atm charges were made on my card. On the 3rd in Manhattan Beach and Lakewood and on the 5th in Fontana. The Bank informed me that Dale's Jr. Market was the last place I'd swiped my card. Swipe credit card readers are dangerous for customers. I will not return to this store until they get a safer chip reader. Now I have to go file a police report. Stay away from this store unless you plan on using cash. My bank suspects that someone working in the store is stealing credit card info. Luckily there are cameras posted on every...
