While visiting my sister, she introduced me to a charming little gem in Playa del Rey, her go-to spot for a delightful lunch and cozy evenings with friends. Nestled in a small outdoor space, the restaurant's atmosphere is both romantic and quaint, creating a perfect setting for a leisurely meal. She also let me know that sometimes they’ll have love music. We opted for the daily specials, and I am particularly hoping the cacio e pepe becomes a regular menu item. It was creamy and perfectly seasoned, a true delight. However, the real star of the meal was the penne arrabbiata with sausage. Spicy, tangy, and rich in flavor, it was simply outstanding. Beyond the food, the ambiance contributed to a wonderful dining experience. Though the outdoor area is small, it feels intimate rather than cramped, and the overall vibe is friendly and inviting. Whether you're looking for a relaxing lunch spot or a cozy place to enjoy sangria and pasta with friends, this place is definitely worth a visit.

Today, my two friends and I had an awful experience at “the good pizza”restaurant. We parked near this restaurant at 10:40am and went inside to order three sandwiches. While we were inside, someone scratched and spat on our car. When we approached the owner, who was sitting outside, to ask for footage, he became enraged and started threatening and harassing us. He claimed we had no right to park there and said he didn't need our business. We called the police to report the incident. The owner, Nando De Stefano, tried to intimidate us, screamed at us, and used racist slurs, telling us to "go ride our horses and camels." This behavior is completely unjustifiable, especially towards customers. We have filed a report with the police and the Better Business Bureau. Camera footage and pictures have been shared as well. It's deeply disappointing to witness such behavior from a Playa Del Rey local business owner, one who is a product of the immigration to America.

I used to love eating here. Gave them a 1 star review due to terrible taste, over salty sauce, and hardly no toppings nor cheese on the slices. Gave them another shot today. Ordered 2 slices of Salciccia, which is sausage with pepperoni here. Look at the picture. One slice has 4 sausages on it, and entire areas with no toppings, no cheese, and no sauce. Its nearly just sloppy bread. The other slice, is not that. It's some chicken, pepperoni, red bell pepper, and olives thing. I hate olives. Lets taste it and see... Meh. It's subpar. Not great, not terrible. A 4/10. New ownership killed this place. "The Good Pizza" is whatever. Gave the place enough 2nd tries. Never coming back. I recommend you go to Hanks Pizza instead. Just one block down the street.

I get sick of everyone telling me where I have to get pizza from. Everyone has their place they get pizza. If you don't have your place in LA yet and are looking for one try this place. The price is a little more than the chains but quality costs more. This is some of the best pizza I've ever had. It really is good pizza. The crust is just right. A little thicker than thin with just the right chewiness. I've gone through most of their pizzas and recommend all but the BBQ. It has pizza sauce and BBQ sauce and caramelized onions (which probably soak in a 9 pan) which makes for a very soggy center. It's their only pizza that you can't pull a slice from. The center just stays in the box. If that pizza had only one sauce and maybe just regular onions it'd probably be as awesome as the others - one day I'll probably order it that way but there's so many other ones to order I just haven't yet. That's the only kinda bad thing I can say. So keep that in mind if you order the BBQ but otherwise order any other pizza in complete confidence. When ordering online I suggest using The Slice. For some reason the 3 ordering options are all a little different. Chow Now has free delivery but they have a much more limited selection and all the prices are a few dollars higher. The Slice charges a $2 delivery fee with a .95 cent service fee but the pizzas are cheaper and they offer the full menu. Postmates charges a $2.99 delivery fee and other additional fees and their pizzas are like $5 more! Ridiculous. Look for yourself. If you haven't had The Good Pizza you really should try it. I bet it'll be your go to pizza place from now on. And the tiramisu...

I gave two stars, not one, only because their teriyaki chicken wings are the best in the area. Their pizza is mediocre, there are places in PDR way better for pizza, but teriyaki chicken wings are the best and we order only this item from this place. Last time we ordered the wings we had an impudent condescending attitude from a woman who took our order. My son called and asked for two orders of wings and one order of sweet potato fries. The woman on the phone repeated the order, saying “two orders of wings and one sweet potato fries”. The phone was on a speaker so I also heard that she said this. Then she said, “wait, I’ll check if we have sweet potato fries“, and they had. While she was checking this, she obviously forgot that my son asked for TWO orders of wings. He picked up the order without checking what they gave him. After he came home and I opened the bag, there was only one order of wings. We checked the receipt, they charged him for one order (which was good, at least), but we asked for two orders. He called the place, the same woman answered and she was very rude, she said that we asked one order. My son insisted that we asked for two and reminded her that she even repeated it. She said in an impudent voice, “well, you asked for one order, that’s it, it’s my word against yours, what are you going to do?”. Well, this is not how you do the business, lady!!! A good business would apologize and offer to make a second order AND to deliver for free (we picked up our order). We would pay for wings, of course. No, this woman chose to make my son look as a lier, and acted as she was above him. Not a good feedback for...

Twenty+ years living in LA and never experienced such a good flavor until now. I am a VERY foodie person and I LOVE PASTA AND PIZZA! This is by far the best places that I was able to enjoy a great pasta. I ordered simple, spaghetti al pomodoro (marinara) and it exceeded my expectations. The tiramisu is like being in Italy. Great combination of flavor and texture. Then, the owner, Nando is a great host. He really has the napoleatanian vibe. Very lovely, wit and funny. The music was way too loud and thanks to the owner we were able to have a nice night with friends. The atmosphere was unique! We ended talking with some other people from the table next to us and has a blast! Also service was good, Paulo makes sure you can have a good experience. Still... something that is happening in almost ALL restaurants: servers don't look around or look to other tables all the times. I attend one table, I finish, look around and THEN come back to the kitchen. Simple. If that minor thing could be fixed, probably I would have to move next door of then, lol! Won't care to get fat haaaa! Again, is almost everywhere. Marry me Nando!! Ha BEST PLACES FOR PASTA! Yes, in LA! Please, check out my 100s reviews. I nailed it with most...
