I get sick of everyone telling me where I have to get pizza from. Everyone has their place they get pizza. If you don't have your place in LA yet and are looking for one try this place. The price is a little more than the chains but quality costs more. This is some of the best pizza I've ever had. It really is good pizza. The crust is just right. A little thicker than thin with just the right chewiness. I've gone through most of their pizzas and recommend all but the BBQ. It has pizza sauce and BBQ sauce and caramelized onions (which probably soak in a 9 pan) which makes for a very soggy center. It's their only pizza that you can't pull a slice from. The center just stays in the box. If that pizza had only one sauce and maybe just regular onions it'd probably be as awesome as the others - one day I'll probably order it that way but there's so many other ones to order I just haven't yet. That's the only kinda bad thing I can say. So keep that in mind if you order the BBQ but otherwise order any other pizza in complete confidence. When ordering online I suggest using The Slice. For some reason the 3 ordering options are all a little different. Chow Now has free delivery but they have a much more limited selection and all the prices are a few dollars higher. The Slice charges a $2 delivery fee with a .95 cent service fee but the pizzas are cheaper and they offer the full menu. Postmates charges a $2.99 delivery fee and other additional fees and their pizzas are like $5 more! Ridiculous. Look for yourself. If you haven't had The Good Pizza you really should try it. I bet it'll be your go to pizza place from now on. And the tiramisu...
Read moreI gave two stars, not one, only because their teriyaki chicken wings are the best in the area. Their pizza is mediocre, there are places in PDR way better for pizza, but teriyaki chicken wings are the best and we order only this item from this place. Last time we ordered the wings we had an impudent condescending attitude from a woman who took our order. My son called and asked for two orders of wings and one order of sweet potato fries. The woman on the phone repeated the order, saying âtwo orders of wings and one sweet potato friesâ. The phone was on a speaker so I also heard that she said this. Then she said, âwait, Iâll check if we have sweet potato friesâ, and they had. While she was checking this, she obviously forgot that my son asked for TWO orders of wings. He picked up the order without checking what they gave him. After he came home and I opened the bag, there was only one order of wings. We checked the receipt, they charged him for one order (which was good, at least), but we asked for two orders. He called the place, the same woman answered and she was very rude, she said that we asked one order. My son insisted that we asked for two and reminded her that she even repeated it. She said in an impudent voice, âwell, you asked for one order, thatâs it, itâs my word against yours, what are you going to do?â. Well, this is not how you do the business, lady!!! A good business would apologize and offer to make a second order AND to deliver for free (we picked up our order). We would pay for wings, of course. No, this woman chose to make my son look as a lier, and acted as she was above him. Not a good feedback for...
Read moreTwenty+ years living in LA and never experienced such a good flavor until now. I am a VERY foodie person and I LOVE PASTA AND PIZZA! This is by far the best places that I was able to enjoy a great pasta. I ordered simple, spaghetti al pomodoro (marinara) and it exceeded my expectations. The tiramisu is like being in Italy. Great combination of flavor and texture. Then, the owner, Nando is a great host. He really has the napoleatanian vibe. Very lovely, wit and funny. The music was way too loud and thanks to the owner we were able to have a nice night with friends. The atmosphere was unique! We ended talking with some other people from the table next to us and has a blast! Also service was good, Paulo makes sure you can have a good experience. Still... something that is happening in almost ALL restaurants: servers don't look around or look to other tables all the times. I attend one table, I finish, look around and THEN come back to the kitchen. Simple. If that minor thing could be fixed, probably I would have to move next door of then, lol! Won't care to get fat haaaa! Again, is almost everywhere. Marry me Nando!! Ha BEST PLACES FOR PASTA! Yes, in LA! Please, check out my 100s reviews. I nailed it with most...
