Fleur Nails and Lashes — Local services in Los Angeles

I had an appointment at this salon last week to do mani + pedi, lower leg wax, and eyelash extensions. This was my first time here, I just moved to the neighborhood and was hoping to find my long term salon. It took a lot of coordination to make this appointment, as I am a physician. Nonetheless i accolades for the block of time they needed to do all the services. The woman that did my nails was lively and professional. Did an excellent job. The woman that does the waxing and eyelashes is incredibly unprofessional. Just under Mid-way through my lower leg wax, she stops and tells me she can’t finish because she has another client. She will not finish the wax or do my eyelashes. I am obviously confused, because I’ve blocked out hours to have this appointment. Then she says okay maybe she can do light lashes quickly, or finish the leg she is waxing. What?!?! I get dressed to leave. Only to be told at the front desk I will pay for the full wax anyway because she started the service. I told her absolutely not. And this is incredibly unprofessional and she says okay she will finish my legs and charge for that. And I can make another appointment for my lashes another time… Who treats new clients (or old clients) like this?!? Not to mention the waxing was mediocre and I had to come home and shave entire patches of hair. She did not even bother to clean the wax off my leg, it got onto my pants. But I have a huge issue with whoever is in charge of making and managing their appointments. I just had the appointment that I made weeks ago, canceled without warning, barely an hour before I was supposed to get my nails done.

More than a week before, someone from the salon texted to ask for my design request. I responded within the time frame they asked for, they never replied. Then today, 70min before my appointment time, they asked for me to confirm, and if I didn't respond within 20 minutes, they threatened me with a $10 late fee. I missed these texts and didn't see them until I was getting ready to leave FOR THIS APPOINTMENT. When I texted them back, they had already booked another client.

Now they're trying to get me to reschedule when they gave away my appointment time to begin with. I wouldn't go here again just because communicating with whoever does their booking is a nightmare. The techs...

I hardly ever leave bad reviews, but I am extremely disappointed with my service here. I feel like I got scammed. I went in for gel extensions and within 2 days, 3 of the nails had already fallen off. I called to see what could be done to fix the situation and I was told to come back almost a week later to have the 3 nails fixed. I wanted to have the whole set redone because I knew that the other nails would inevitably come off as well due to the quality of the work and they said I would have to pay full price. I did not end up going back because I do not have time to keep going back when the nails come off. I paid over $100 for the gel extensions and left a generous tip and within 4 days all the nails had come off and the quality of my natural nails was ruined.
