Ariyoshi Sushi Cafe Izakaya — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Great place to come any time during the week when craving sushi late night. Happy hour until 10pm is awesome. Service here is great. Very welcoming with awesome personalities. Plus you can watch sports here too! Coming here again for sure!

Let me elaborate from the above synopsis: I came here with my best friend to do a small pre-celebration for her Birthday and we ended up having a great, fun experience.

The Jalapeño Poppers as an appetizer are very good if you like a little spice in your life. ha.

The HH pitcher of Sapporo was perfectly priced and big! We also had some hot saki to go with it. I did not get as tipsy as I should have, maybe because I had lots of sushi rolls which I will discuss in a second.

Now for the rolls, we had the Cajun Seared Ahi Tuna Roll, Happy Salmon Roll and the Double Shrimp Roll (pics posted). I listed those in order from my favorite to least but they were all great! It was my first time here so granted I have not tried the other rolls but I was very happy with these choices. I'm into the spicy rolls so even if they are not that spicy I always get a side of spicy mayo. Did I just write 'spicy' 3x in one sentence!

I'm excited to come back again, the prices are great, the rolls are amazing, and the people were really nice. I especially enjoyed watching some basketball too while eating...

The food was decent but overloaded with different sugary sauces and mayonnaise. The service was terrible!

We seated ourselves and was ignored for 10 min even though there was only 6 customers in the restaurant. Finally came over and gave us menus, then ignored as again for 10min and didn't even offer us any drinks! We have to call someone over to take our drink orders. Paid $7 for a glass of wine and it came in a tiny toy glass that was half the size of a normal glass of wine: totally rip off. The rolls were decent but definitely swimming in mayo, hoisin sauce and other sugary sauces. The prices are ok.

Our server also screwed up our order and didn't even apologize! Lame! Also the food took forever to come out even with only 6 customers....

This wonderful place provided me and my family with the best sushi ive ever eaten in my entire life. The food was fantastic, the place was very clean, and I felt very full after I finished eating. I plead you to please please PLEASE eat here. This food was beautiful, im sitting here in the car genuinely holding back tears because of how exquisite the sushi was. The fish was so fresh and just so perfect. I have absolutely zero complaints. Please eat at this place instead of any other sushi restaurant. We went in on a whim and left so satisfied. Me and my family couldn't stop talking about how good the food was and how the person that made it was SO talented. I love you...
