Walgreens — Local services in Los Angeles

I go to this one sort of often & I always notice that the staff there are very nice . They have the best prices for their soft toilet tissues !! Sometimes 2 for $10 ( 9 rolls ) !! Which I love love !! Lol. Toilet papers are so- expensive in the U.S.!! I go " What the heck !!?" at the prices often !! My country Japan has the best qualities for paper products ( including our currency bills,tissues,toilet papers ,even magazines ! )especially toilet tissues at affordable prices since decades ago !! Lol. Here ,very excellent ones cost fortunes !! Lol. I love shopping drug store cosmetic brand's make up products at Walgreens & Target as they're usually the cheapest !! I got a NYX slim eyeliner in black at my last visit a few days ago & their ultra soft ( not really ultra soft ,but fairy soft )toilet tissues & a liner pads . I love the NYX eyeliner's performance 😍,it's super soft ,it glides like a silk, doesn't tag my skin at all !! Very very smooth / easy application, actually too easy that I have to be careful not to make a mistake !! 😀 😆 I used to love L'oreal infallible gel eyeliners ,but they are way more expensive ( you can get great deals if they have sales ,Rite Aid ,Walgreens, CVS ,Ulta do often have them on sales ,or bogo deals !! ) ,but NYX one ,this particular one is as good as Loreal ones ,or even better !!! I love Walgreens's points & discounts are easy to understand because they let me know often at the cashiers ,or print it out to notify me ,as well as in their emails to me !! They carry Elf ,Physician's formula, Burts Bee ,Milani ,Wet'nWild, NYX, Maybelline, so on. I've been going to this one & other locations in Beverly Hills area often for years !! I recommend this store for convenience as well !! It's very close to Ralph's & IHOP !! So ,you can shop cosmetics & candies at very good prices & then shop groceries at Ralph's, or prescription there ( or at this Walmart, but I prefer Ralph's as there aren't many sick people in the lines usually vs drugstores are filled with sick people waiting in lines ! Lol ) ,then you can go eat pancakes at the IHOP very near by !! Lol. They often thank me for returning their shopping carts at this location that makes me feel good ,too !! I often find Russel Stover & Ferrero Rocher chocolates on sales ,too !! They're my faves !! Non GMO,either ! They have good pet goods as well. Like wee wee pads ,so on at much better prices compared to pet stores !! I used to buy...

Misleading and rude customer service. My husband and I called ahead to confirm their opening hours for the Photo section and to see if they were taking passport photos. They said yes. So I walked all the way over here, and when I asked for help taking my passport photo to one of the older associates at the register, he told me they weren't taking them. Confused, I mentioned we called 15 minutes prior and that they said they could do it. He continues to tell me they haven't taken them since the start of COVID-19 (which I know isn't true because my neighbor literally told me she took her passport pictures here this year? What?). I left, slightly annoyed, and my husband gave them another call asking if there was a mistake and why they were saying they couldn't take them when they had literally JUST said yes to it on the phone 15 minutes prior; to that, the associate on the phone said "well, I changed my mind". LOL. Okay? Look, I'm sure you guys hate your job and I understand that working in retail can be rough, but "changing your mind" isn't the same as "we haven't taken them since covid". Just admit you're rude, or sexist, or whatever the heck your reason was. Definitely don't come here to take your pictures. Apparently they will change their mind on you randomly based on how they feel lol....

I did not like the customer service at this pharmacy. The male employee who checked me out today, 11/25/24, Monday at 5:34 pm, assumed I didn’t understand Spanish, but he was wrong! I understood everything he was saying to the other employee about how he screwed up by not updating my medications and letting his coworker do the work for him. He even said to the female employee that I wouldn’t understand what they were talking about, but I did. In fact, he is the same person I spoke to two weeks ago to check the status of my medications. He told me they were ready for pick-up and that they would hold them until Monday. This employee needs to be fired!

My prescription took a long time to process. The status of my medications changed from “ready to pick up” to “not existent” to “pending” on the prescription tracker, and when I called just before picking up my medications, the woman who answered the phone seemed alarmed. She told me she would go ahead and process the other medications and asked me to give her 10 minutes.

I will never return to or recommend this pharmacy to anyone. The employees need better training in customer service.
