Kiehl's Since 1851 — Local services in Los Angeles

There are a couple of Khiel's products I've repurchased several times over the years. Midnight recovery serum etc.. when I ran out the timing was good as they were having a 25% off sale. I'm so glad I came into the store a week or so ago, instead of ordering online as Ayahnna's customer service was superb. She was knowledgeable and informative gave me some tips about how to use one of the products I didn't think worked very well in the past, and she explained how to emulsify the moisturizer so that the skin absorbs it better. She took the time, and was professional, very pleasant and honest. This mall is a little oddly placed as it seems hidden behind the Bloomingdales. Quiet. Slow. But Khiel's has hired a good staff member. Makes the bricks and mortar a joy to visit. Easier than researching skin care products online...

This review is not about the products but the older saleswoman. The first time I went I asked about some products, she was very dry and unfriendly. I thought “well, maybe she had a bad day”. I was in the mall a second time the following week and I had been researching the brand but I thought I would like to get some free samples to decide if it was right for me. I went in and there she was…as dry, unfriendly and unhelpful as the last time. I just left, I guess I will have to try another brand or maybe shop online. She definitely does not have a good personality for sales.

As a last minute shopper I can say that this store has everything that is needed right in front of you. With the professional staff, you are able to get good service from professionals who understand a lot about skincare. The staff explain and go in depth on what is suited for your skin as well as what is recommended for day to day use. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly when you enter in. You are greeted, asked questions, and are showed how to apply their lotions.
