Mother's Nutritional Center — Local services in Los Angeles

Wonderful!!! Excellent place to get WIC foods.The Mother's Nutritional Center is located right next to the North Holllywood Wic center so it's easy to grab my groceries right after my appointment. It's so much quicker to grab my WIC foods here than at a traditional store. It's a tiny store that has all the WIC foods in one place and the workers load up your items quickly and efficiently, only stopping to ask simple questions like "creamy peanut butter or crunchy?" A trip to the store that would take me an hour takes only about five minutes here! The workers are all trained to handle WIC checks and cards, so you don't have to worry about the scenario that sometimes happens at a traditional grocery store where you end up holding up the line because the cashier hasn't been trained to process WIC. The staff are very helpful and friendly, they even push your cart of groceries all the way to your car and help you load them. I always leave the Mother's Nutritional Center feeling cheerier than...

Used to be one of my favorite places to get my WIC items, until today. It was 6:45pm when I arrived and noticed it was closed, it seemed weird to me because they usually close at 7pm, so I asked my son to check on the window for their hours and noticed they were still there so I called because I wanted to know whether they were gonna open tomorrow. The ladies in the store heard there phone and noticed I was on the phone so they realized it was me calling, they were all giggly and kept looking at me. I have been shopping at this location for 5 years I don’t know when management changed but the employees do not look happy to be working here. Also when the customer is parked in the correct assigned parking space employee’s should NOT offer to help carry out your groceries if they are just going to ask if you can pull up to the front of the store. Meanwhile a parking meter attendant gives you a ticket if you do so! I will make sure to go out of my way to shop at...
