Be aware, deceiving photos, not what you expect. First time in my life I returned flowers back to the shop. My 20 year old daughter ordered flowers for my birthday and chose OR with the help of her father, because of high ranking reviews. I was leaving the house and saw a small mason jar with some flowers and green leaves by the door and I thought, my neighbour dropped it off. When I turned around and said to my husband these flowers are from my daughter his answer was, "what??? these flowers are not worth $100". Apparently they were. It was a small mason jar 89 cent worth and about 6 roses, aprox 5 inch tall and filled wirb eucalyptus and some other greenery. Something you may find at the farmers market for $20. I was chocked! I called OR immediately and explained my dissatisfaction. I was told the bouquet was $59, plus tax, plus delivery. So they charged $30 delivery fee to go 3 miles. I asked them to come back and pick it up and refund the money. The woman clearly said OK and wasn't even debating or trying to make up for it. I was not happy that they took advantage of a young person (as the lengthy note included was written to her mother). A half an hour later, I got a call from the manager who wanted to hear what happened, but clearly defended her stand. I explained to her that for the price my daughter paid $94 I should have gotten a dozen of roses, not a farmer's market jam jar with aluminum lid and a few flowers. Her answer was you got 6 roses and this is the recipe for the price. My answer was, "I don't like the food please take it back." She didn't attempt to fix the problem, but said they will pick it up. Total scam, be careful what you are paying for and always ask the recipient to send you a photo. This...

Pros: Their arrangements are beautiful. They actually have all the selection you see on their website.

Cons: Your can’t trust they won’t mess things up… when I placed my order over the phone, they made a spelling error in the recipient’s name. I called back to correct it, and while I was doing that, I decided to change my note as well. The woman on the phone assured me she got it all. The next day, the flowers were delivered, my friend sent me a photo… WRONG name spelling and WRONG note.

I was so disappointed. I called the flower shop back. They said that couldn’t have happened, let me check and call you back. They called back saying they needed more time. They finally offered to send out a “correction”. I think that’s really weird. My friend who received the flowers doesn’t know anything’s wrong… she just saw a typo and a short note. I don’t want to send out a “correction” to call out a mistake. So I declined their “correction” offer. I had to be the one to suggest other compensation… I suggested the delivery fee… but big deal it was $11 of a $186 order!

Amazing experience, spectacular flowers! Thank you! Typically don’t use local florists as the value and quality isn’t as good as what I’ve experienced online. Orchid Republic was different. Unique and exceptional! Thank you! So impressed to get an email that my order was ready for same day delivery for bereavement arrangement and then the delivery notification promptly too. Recipient said this is the most beautiful arrangement she’s ever received. And I would say, my BEST flower experience too!
