Prices are usually the same as online prices. And if I need a price match it's easily done. But... I purchased a couple of Lowe’s gift cards at Target (Raymer /Van Nuys CA) on December 24th 2024 for a Christmas present for my brother. When he used them at a Lowes in El Paso, TX the cashier scratched off to reveal the pin, both cards only had a 2 digit pin instead of a 4 digit pin. So I don’t know if these cards sold at the store were fake, hacked or scammed. Either way Target charged me $75 for merchandise at the register for cards that were not legit. After a few phone calls Lowes said the balance is zero. Lowes said I have to go to the store where I purchased the cards and speak with the manager. I went to and spoke with a Team Leader and he said that it’s basically out of the stores hands and has to go through Legal. And that this has been happening Nation Wide. He gave me a card that said to email b2b.giftcards. I even attached the pix of the cards and receipts to those emails but basically my money is gone. I would like a refund back to my Target Redcard.
I talked and emailed Lowes and they were no help as well I also had reported it to abuse@target.com and they researched for a few days and finally responded with they can't do anything about it. A totally unacceptable answer. After looking at reviews of the Lowes Gift Cards on Target's website, I'm not the only one with...
Read moreOn July 1, 2025, I purchased Naturium's Vitamin C Complex Cleansing Gelee but upon returning home, realized that I already had a bottle in my bathroom cabinet.
The next day, I decided to return it (different location) and when I presented the cashier with my receipt, I told her the bottle had not been opened. Moments later, she asked if it had been opened to which I told her "No." This is where it gets completely BIZARRE: The cashier proceeded to open the bottle, put her nose next to the top & SMELL the contents. She then placed a sticker on the bottle, indicating that it wouldn't be returned to the shelf.
I then jokingly asked, "Is smelling the contents part of the return process?" She didn't understand my joke & so I asked if it'd be thrown away. The cashier said they have to return the bottle to the manufacturer "for testing."
Confused, I then asked: "Well why did it matter whether it was opened? You're accepting my return regardless & now a perfectly good, new bottle of product is being wasted."
I have NEVER heard of or seen any store employee open a return item & smell it. Please train your staff to behave professionally. Not only was that disgusting, but everything she told me didn't...
Read moreI went to the Van Nuys north store to by my dad a gift bag for his big birthday gift. I got the spritz giant gift bag for $6.56 I was extremely excited. Once we open it we were a bit disappointed to see the quality of the material but still hopefull. We very carefully but the item keep in mind the bag was way to big for a gift so we had alot of room even then it still ripped! It barely touched the bag and it tore in many different places. It was so frustrating wasting so much money on an item that was the worst quality every! It was basically to table clothes glued together!!! How ridiculous is that, I love target products and to see this item it was a joke. I was so upset and shocked I took pictures to of the bag if u want to see how awful the item was. Ive bought smaller versions of this items at the 99c store yes THE DOLLAR STORE with higher quality. If a have a big item with a little of weight this bag is supposed to support it and have a bit of structure to it. Clearly this item did nothing but waste my money and time I took to drive all the way to target for just this specific item. Now I have a ripped bag, a bare gift, and...
