So here it goes. I went here on accounts of buying a television. I was looking at TVs online, and the TV I wanted was out of stalk online, but it gave me the option to check if it is in stock in other stores. The TV was in stock in my local target, so I gave a call to confirm that they do in fact have the TV and it was so and so priced. The lady confirmed and said yes, we have 8 of them in stock right now. So I throw on some clothes, and assure her I'll be there soon. I come to the store, and I walk to the electronic department (more like ran there) and immediately ask an associate to help me with it. (Also I had work in a few minutes so I really didn't have time.) So he tells me a completely different price for the same TV, mine was on sale and he was giving me regular price. I show him the information online, and I let him know that I spoke to one of his associates over the phone like 15 minutes ago and she confirmed all of the information. He calls some guy to help him and he said oh just take it to the guest services and they will match the price for you. AWESOME, so I thought. On an off note, I ask one of the associates working in the electronics department a question about the TV, a question that he should be able to answer, yet he says I don't know, check on your phone. OH thanks jackass. I get my butt to guest services, while all the associates are just talking, taking their time, like they have all the time in the world. I explain to the lady the situation, and she tells me that they're not matching prices. I explained to her what the 3 different associates have told me. (all completely different from one other) she tells me no, who did you talk to blah blah blah, even when I told her who she didn't even know who it was. Anyways they completely wasted my time, I was late to work, and overall was complete BS. They need to work on their customer service, and teach their employees to know what is the right answer to give to their customers. I know THEY don't care about other peoples' time, but sorry I don't have a lot of it to spend doing nothing.
The store has practically everything you would ever need, they just need better employees.
I'm also really bummed I didn't get to buy my TV...
Read moreThis location is really hit or miss. I believe a lot of it has to do with the location, however, it also feels like there is a opportunity from a leader ship standpoint to make this location better. Generally, most of the employees are helpful and nice. There are obviously a few exceptions.
Some other reviews have mentioned this locationâs continued problems with pricing, solicitors, general safety, cleanliness, and not having items in stock. All of which I could repeat in this review.
There are many things in this store that ring up more expensive than what the shelf says. Or items that just donât ring up in general when youâre at self check out. And many of the shelves are very empty!
Many targets in the area. I have a problem with solicitors. Do not believe what these people are telling you. Do not give them personal information. Do not give them money. Do not encourage them to be there.
It is often quite difficult to get help in the personal care isles. Like many targets in the area, everything is locked up. Mostly. Do you need to track down someone to help you get an item unlocked. Same thing with the infant formula.
If youâre visiting the pharmacy, check the pharmacies individual google location for the hours. They close for lunch.
I know the huge problem that I have is the shopping carts. There are so many of these that are broken- legit have pieces missing, or the handle is broken, do not work properly, and need wheel replacements. Why isnât anyone doing anything about this?
The restrooms can be hit or miss. Again, itâs the area.
As I mentioned, most of the employees are pretty helpful when theyâre available. The cashier seem to have a really bad habit of leaving the registers. If youâre working at a register, stay behind the register. Donât keep walking around or standing at the front of the isles- because then theyâll often tell you that any register with a light on is open.
The electronics team again is hit or miss. There are definitely guys that seem like they donât really want to be there but then other days they are pretty helpful. Youâve got to just catch them when theyâre not on their personal phones or having personal...

On Saturday evening, April 9, 2022, I noticed that my CashApp card had been charged about $1700 in pending charges for gift cards at the store in North Hollywood, CA. Please note: I literally live on the other side of the United States and have NEVER in my approximate 50 year existence visited the store. Almost immediately, I contacted CashApp and reported my card as "stolen". They told me to call the store to get the charges refunded. I called the store for almost two hours before I was finally able to speak with a human. For another 30 minutes, the person I spoke with put me into a "unmonitored' extension with no voicemail. After repeated attempts to get transferred to a real person after speaking with the same person at the store, I was finally transferred to someone who identified himself as a store manager. The person on the phone said his name was "Johnny Q" (as in John Q Public, I think). He basically said there was nothing that could be done at the store and to keep contacting Cash App to resolve the issue. CashApp basically said to wait until the out of the "pending" status to file a dispute. Today, on April 11, 2022, I noticed that the charges were no longer in the "pending" status and that my CashApp account was now -$1900 in the red. I am trying to file a formal dispute with CashApp BUT it wants written correspondence where I have contacted Target to get the charges reversed. This morning, I contacted the Target Corporate Guest Services. They say that since there is no formal relationship between CashApp and Target, there is nothing that can be done from their end. In fact, there isn't even ANYONE that I could correspond with to discuss the charges. I have gotten the run around from both the North Hollywood store (store T-0294), the Target Corporate Office, AND from CashApp. LET THE BUYER BEWARE anytime you are using CashApp card OR having to deal the with the CLOWNS at North Hollywood, CA Target or at the Target...
