Was just there this afternoon. I went to the cashier with a few items from my reusable Aldi shopping bag. The cashier immediately left the cash register and went and got a shopping cart from and adjacent cash register. I informed her that I did not need a cart and she replied in a stressed out manor that she had to have a cart for the check out and that I could take the items out of the basket after check out. She then began quickly scanning my items and throwing them in the shopping cart and throwing the canned items in the top of the cart where they immediately began rolling out and dropping onto the floor. Look, I know we're all feeling the pain of "inflation" (or corporate greed) on groceries recently, but Aldi has changed. The discount grocer that Aldi once was is no more -- their prices just can't compare with Wal-Mart anymore, and I hate that that's the case. I just can't justify spending $11 on a family size bag of pizza rolls when I can get the same thing at Wal-Mart for $7. $4.50 for 4 hamburger buns, $3.50 for broccoli crowns, $4 for 4 ears of corn? Aldi have lost the plot!

At our country home we had cake on Sunday and cornbread during the week. Therefore you get four stars instead of five but I am a fan especially a flatbread.
I don't know who it's to read this but if you ever consider paying someone to go to all your stores locally and water the flowers and the plants? It is sad to see the prices that you have to reduce to to get dead flowers out of your stores even the cut ones never get watered and that's sad. Maybe I should take off a star for that also and that would be only rating you at 3 and you're beyond the three Aldi. That's...
