This corporation just wants to create a revolving door of people who still struggle with mental health as they encourage you to talk to people w You met in rehab to "strengthen your sobriety and support systems". They literally take people off of their medications they need to stay sober in the first place because they're "controlled" but you can have all the amphetamines you want if prescribed. But you need anxiety meds? Nooo. Pain medicine because you're literally injured and want to go somewhere where you are safe? No. Literally took me off one of the most important medications I've ever been on and it led me down the worst path I've ever been on. Literally made me worse... I hope they get sued one day like they deserve. They prolly have that's why price gouge and don't pay people enough (doing better but hell all you gotta do is lie to em. If you notice, or know people who work here or any location a lot of them end up relapsing and sadly die. Usually it's the ones that have the most stand up personalities but are walked all over because Landmark doesn't care.about you and never will. As an addiction specialist once told me, "Landmark isn't treatment, THEY RUN NURSING HOMES, if you want to be taken care of like you're in a nursing home? Go there, but if you wanna get sober, there's plenty of other places" I mean IDK why I kept going back except for the fact it was familiar. I guess I did learn to set some boundaries going there. God makes the best of even the worst situations. Landmark makes the worst of the best...

The place is incredibly false. On the phone they offered medical detox. They don’t. They never return phone calls and it apparently is being over run with bed bugs. The men are bunked in the same dorm as the women and they’re locked in like a jail. Sent my girlfriend there. She went voluntarily and they refused her proper medical treatment and told her if she didn’t complete her stay they would notify the courts. Didn’t know you could get in trouble and go to jail for leaving a place you voluntarily went to. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because it’s available for people with no where else to go. If you go there expect some of your personal items to be stolen. I called 3-4 times a day trying to get her personal items(clothes cell phone ect.) and they never returned my calls. Don’t believe anything they tell you on the phone about the place. If you don’t have good insurance landmark will send you to Praxis. In order to leave you have to put in a 24 hour notice form that they won’t give you. There’s a few good techs there Keaton,Tim,Jessie,Stephanie,and Ms Ryan but there’s others that really could care less about the people there seeking help. Shame the good ones have to work with such careless idiots. Ask for a tour of the facility before check in. Good luck to those of you needing help. IM 23 AND HAVE BEEN TO 13 TREATMENT CENTERS AND THIS IS THE SINGLE VERY BEST REHB PROGRAM IVE EVER BEEN INVOLVED IN . FROM THE STAFF TO THE RESIDENTS EVERYONE IS 100% THE BEST PEOPLE EVER. MEETING ONE MALE LIFELONG FRIENDSHIP AND 6 FEMALE FRIENDS! after living in Louisville and having 0 friends besides in chicago i gained many friendships and life skills to stay clean here. i am currently 2 weeks sober thanks to this place my fiance and my higher power i am clean and sober ! l never met a place where i LOVED EACH AND EVERY STAFF MEMBER LITERALLY DESERVES 2X what they get paid they dont sympathize they empathize they dont judge they hug this place and they staff changed my life for the better and tia the queen of the castle and she is underrated she is so good at her job. every single staff member is amazing EVERY SINGLE ONE this is the best place and workers and people and program ive attended by far ! and derrick is the cook and he will be your favorite he makes great food under the circumstances but the blue hair lady is sweet BUT NEEDS TO LEARN TO USE SOME SEASONING NO OFFENSE OR DISCRIMINATION INTENDED BUT THEY NEED DERRICK AND SOME COLOR IN THE KITCHEN . AND THE COLOR IS NOT BLUE LMAO BUT SOMEONE IF YOU ARE STRUGGLING AND THINK YOULL NEVER GET BETTER NO MATTER WHAT YOU DETOXING OR TRYING TO GET BETTER OFF THIS IS THE PLACE LITERALLY THIS EXACT LOCATION...
