By far the best dinner Iâve had in Louisville. The proprietor was very friendly, attentive. I took my food to-go and while I was waiting he asked some easy, get-to-know-you questions. Sometimes itâs scary to walk into a little strip-mall restaurant youâve never been to, this staff made it easy and were quick to welcome me and pass me a menu. I ordered the Chili Colorado, spicy. Everything was still hot by the time I got home, tortillas were fresh and there was a wonderful salad I hadnât been expecting. The meat (steak) was tender, no gristle that I was aware of. And the taste was incredible. Very unique in terms of central/ South American cuisine. Up until last night, I had been frequenting a different Mexican restaurant for my no-cook nights. But Iâm switching to Los Hermanos Catrachos now :)
The portion was really nice, rice and beans were flavored very nicely (I canât speak to how, just know they were delicious). A generous entree, no leftovers for me.
It was a little on the expensive side but that might be because it was my first time ordering. Iâll look more closely at the menu...
