I had a very disappointing experience with Preslers Western after purchasing a pair of boots that turned out to be defective. The boots started taking on moisture in the sole, causing a squishy noise with every step. This was particularly frustrating as I live over an hour away and really couldn't afford to be without my boots in the middle of winter.
After reaching out to Preslers, I was informed that it would take over a month to return the boots to Twisted X for repairs or replacement. In an effort to expedite the process, I even contacted the Vice President of Twisted X directly. He acknowledged the defect and advised me to forward all correspondences to Preslers so they could process the replacement. I followed his instructions and forwarded the emails, but to my dismay, Preslers did not respond at all.
I sent three additional emails, all of which went unanswered. The frustrating part is that Twisted X won’t help until the retailer is involved, leaving me stuck with a $160 pair of boots that are unwearable. Preslers may disagree with my assessment of this situation, but I have all the emails as proof. They have truly left me high and dry.
In my opinion, Preslers took my money and left me without support. If you're considering purchasing Twisted X boots, I highly recommend finding another dealer or exploring different brands altogether. We enter an empty store with our kids and Golden Retriever and were told that the dog had to stay in the car (no signs on the door and it is 96 degrees outside). I ask the woman if there is any leniency and she said, "I have no choice--I don't make the policy," I reminded her that there are always choices, to which she said, "no, the owners are in the back." I said, "ok, good--I would love to talk to the people I am spending money with", and she immediately sneered, "OH trust me--they have NO interest in talking to you." So they will take my money but have zero interest in me or my experience with them as a client? Went a short distance to Boot Barn and they welcomed our well-behaved family member and fit us with several boots and hats. Yes, there are choices, and I will never shop somewhere so unwelcoming, nasty, and disinterested in me as a client as Preslar's proved themselves...
Read moremy old boots although had just gotten comfortable I had to retire over CD wet weather unaware I was walking into the cartrights hidden boot clothing and accessory outlet .30 min after walking in the front door I was stomping out the same n took the day off for first time in weeks because I got a great deal on the best fitn boots shirt n pants I believe I've ever owned and just couldn't leave there porch without resting my tired carcass on the log n split rail benches to appreciate the Timber framed tin covered roof on the porch that I wish I was listening to the rain dance on in my front yard and yep wound up felling asleep ......good thing Im the boss or I woulda shure been in a heap of trouble for that one.I believe I just keep preslers right where we are at....THANK YOU...
