Sub Station II — Restaurant in Louisville

The place looks sketchy on the outside. Signs are outdated . I drive past it several times a week and a coworker told me it was good so I thought I would check it out. Walking in, the place looks nice. They have dine in available and carry out. Tables everywhere, a couple arcade machines (which really isn't fitting the theme, but whatever).

The food. I bought a steak and cheese, and I probably won't order it again. The employees weren't helpful in terms of suggesting what to put on it (I didn't see a list of what was offered). There was a good amount of meat, but I felt like the sandwich was mostly bread and the bread was pretty flavorless.

I told them it was my first time there and I didn't get a lot of assistance ordering. Everything is ala carte. It ends up being more expensive than other sandwich places after a drink and chips.

Giving it three stars just because it wasn't terrible, but I wasn't impressed either. I might give it one more try at some point in the future, but this won't be a stomping...

Edit 9/8/22: I feel like a VIP when I visit because they're already making what I usually order as I'm walking up to order. The subs are always on point and the staff is always phenomenal. I wish I could go every day. 😃

Edit 3/4/22: I used the online ordering from their website and it was super easy. My subs were waiting for me when I arrived. Perect subs once again!

This is my absolute favorite sandwich sub place in the area. Today was the third time I've been there this month. I usually get the large spicy italian sub and their consistency of their sandwiches are on point. I know when I go back my sandwich will be exactly the same as last time. They're extremely fast and efficient and get people their sandwiches in just a couple of minutes and always friendly no matter how busy they are. Worst subs and customer service I have ever had the vegetables looked rotten I could smell the sour onions the moment I opened the sandwich. I told them I didn't want pickles because I was allergic to pickles and asked if the person who was making my sandwich could change their gloves and I got an attitude and proceeded to make my sandwich and put pickles on it. When I asked for a manager they gave me an attitude like it was my fault. They refused to give me my money back so I could go somewhere else. So I asked if they could just make me a fresh sandwich and the manager did and got mad when I asked for mayo and no pickles I got the no pickles but they put salad dressing on it. After taking a bite the sandwich was so nasty I just threw it in the trash and walked out. I have no clue how this place is...
