I was hoping I would not have to give a bad review….. but No! I do not know what this is!! Why would you mix a bunch of different meats together in one container??? I got this from two other Indian places and everything was separate and I knew what it all was. The chicken was not cleaned the lamb very tough no flavor in anything!!! Only spice! I am so sad now cuz I spent damn near $30 bucks and I have to go to bed hungry. I dont like this. ALSO WHEN YOUR PREVIOUS CUSTOMERS GIVE AN HONEST REVIEW IT WOULD BEEHIOVE YOU TO LOWER AND HUMBLE YOURSELF NOT ATTACK THEM, WE CAN COOK, ITS THE ONES LYING TO YOU SAYING ITS GOOD WHO CANT COOK. & WE CAME THERE TO GIVE IT A TRY...AND ALL YOU CAN DO IS ATTACK US IN RETURN...ALSO "BAD FOR BUSINESS" YOU WON'T BE THERE FOR LONG! PS. I CAN COOK ANY INTERNATIONAL CUISINE (BETTER) THAN U OR ANYONE THERE!! CARE TO HAVE A COOK OFF??? NO!!?!? WATCH UR MOUTH AND BE VERY CAREFUL OF WHO YOU TALK CRAZY TO! SERIOUSLY WE SAID WHAT WE SAID. NOW DO BETTER CUZ ITS FLAVOR LESS GROSS AN...
Read moreTried this place through a delivery service (I’d rather do takeout and save the restaurant from losing a cut, but I’m disabled and can’t get out there. I wish I could leave a written review on the delivery site, but the one I used doesn’t have the option so leaving it here.)
Pleasantly surprised is an understatement. Portion sizes of everything were actually bigger than I expected for delivery - seriously wasn’t expecting that many papadum, the naan was well wrapped for delivery, the cheese naan actually tasted like it HAD CHEESE (some other restaurants seem to skimp on the ingredients on their breads and their naan and kulcha etc don’t taste THAT much different than plain.) I ordered my entree extra spicy and that is exactly what I got.
Bottom line, everything was YUM. I can tell my order was prepared with care.
Will be ordering again, and visiting in person when it is safe (I’m very high risk and not dining out at all right now - this is no reflection on the...
Read moreI ordered chicken vindaloo and said I like it spicy. Vindaloo is supposed to be usually the spiciest thing at an Indian restaurant, and this had absolutely 0 spice. It also did not taste good compared to other chicken vindaloos I had, even considering the lack of spice. There was too much potato and not enough tomato nor onion, if there even was any tomato or onion. This also made it like just coated chicken and potato, with no sauce, so there isn't sauce for you to dip your naan in. I give the Chicken Vindaloo 0 stars.
The garlic naan was good, but could've had more garlic and more ghee on it.
The gulab jamun had a very nice milk cheese flavor to it, likely due to the pieces of cheese floating in the sweet oil you don't often see. This was as good or better than I've had elsewhere. They were smaller and a bit stiffer too, which isn't really an effect on quality to me.
All said, I will not be ordering here again (uber eats) unless I stop by just for some...
