El Nopal Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Louisville

I mean I've been coming to this place for a while. I really enjoy their food. I'm pretty simple I usually order order their fajitas, or they're nachos fajitas. Either side of cheese sauce or guacamole. I noticed something this last time I went maybe it was just a fluke. But on their nachos fajita they were quite skimpy with their cheese I understand everything is expensive. But when you're charging $20 after tax for a nacho order, I expect more than just, a minimal drizzle of cheese. Because that is what literally was on it.. to embarrassed us into say anything. So I just pretended like everything was okay. Figured I'd leave a review instead hopefully be more impactful. I just don't want it to happen to people le. I'm not saying that you need put heavy cheese but you should at least make it normal cheese. Anyways I still like the taste of the food here. I will continue to go back here and I just don't think it's wise to be stingy on on something. There is another choice right next to them selling Mexican...

We came here because there was a 30 minute wait up the interstate. We were immediately seated and drink orders taken within minutes. My wife ordered the Nopal Special with a Blue Hawaiian. I ordered the Burrito Supreme and a jumbo margarita, on special for $6.99. Chips were quickly brought to us and our food arrived shortly after. Everyone was very friendly and happy. The food was delicious and hot. We were checked on several times. About the time we were finishing up, the other place called to tell us our table was ready, 50 minutes later. While the food was very good service was very disappointing. Forgotten about. Servers had their favorites. Very obvious. But dogs do not belong in restaurants. Don’t get me wrong I love dogs and miss mine very much. I didn’t take her out to eat where dog hair and dander could be passed. If you can’t go out to eat with out your dog stay home to be with it. The women who was so proud of her little dog she passed it around. This should not be allowed where food is served. Shame on the server and management for allowing this.
