I'm brand new into photography and through second hand got myself a little set up. I went into this shop today to see if they could possibly repair a lens I had bought off Facebook that I found out didn't work after I got home and the seller left me on read. We talked back and forth and he checked out the lens and agreed it was basically a paperweight since the cost to repair outweighs the cost of a replacement. He taught me a little bit about lenses while in this discussion and was able to share an immense amount of knowledge to help out a new guy like me! I hadn't even given the indication that I was going to spend money in the store yet but he shared his helpful knowledge! Best part was it was absolutely free and you can tell he cares about this industry and building up newbies like me. I asked if they had any comparable lenses to the one I wanted and sure enough he did. I had no intention on buying another lens after wasting $100 on the broken lens from Facebook but he restored my spark for getting into photography. Plus the man has a great sense of humor and I felt completely at home in this shop. I hardly ever have experiences I feel I need to review about, however this shop is 100% worth it and they have definitely created a loyal customer. I have done business with Vahe (Recycledphoto) around three years and I trust him completely. I go to him first for my photographic needs. I continually recommend him as a source to all of my photography colleagues (professional and amateur).

Vahe always conducts himself in a professional and compassionate fashion. He’s given me suggestions and steered me away from making mistakes in purchasing equipment. He is very knowledgable on all manor of equipment.

Bought a used Fuji X-T2 and 18-55mm kit lens a few months back. At first glance, the equipment condition seemed to match the seller’s description on their Ebay store. A few months later, this remains true.

Thanks to Vahe, I was able to get into photography for a reasonable amount of money. I picked my gear up in person, and was happy to see that Vahe is a genuine and knowledgeable guy. He saw that I was new to photography and even decided to throw in a strap for free.

10/10 recommend this place for gear, you can certainly trust their Ebay listings to accurately reflect what you’re buying. If you’re a local, I recommend going in person to check the place out. It’s small, but densely packed with a myriad of camera equipment.

I do wish their hours were a little wider though. 9:30am to 4:30pm requires me to take time off of work, which isn’t often doable for me. Even having one day a week where the hours are shifted (e.g. 11-6) would make a huge difference as far as how often I’d be able to stop in. There have been a few times where I’ve needed something in a pinch, but just opt for Amazon 2-day shipping since I rarely have time off from work.
