Wehrung's Macungie — Local services in Lower Macungie Township

Well, I liked Dries. Then this newfangled company came in and I was sure they were gonna wreck my local hardware store.

I am the proprietor of the motorcycle shop in town. Not the dealer, I'm an indie, so we get all the old and weird bikes. I'm in here all the time for fasteners; they all have something falling off.

Dries had a good selection. Wehrung's, to my amazement, actually improved it and made it larger. Prices are no great shakes on their own, but they send so many coupons I can't NOT shop here. Come canning season we got many free jar lids due to a coupon, and we've gotten some of those hardwood bricks they sell for free to help keep the shop warm...and it all means I spend more here.

They're local and friendly and retained a lot of the knowledgeable Dries folks, and the newer faces I see are just as smart and helpful.

Purchased a custom order door and after paying it off and taking it home I realized it was the incorrect size. It's been over 2 weeks and still have not recieved a return phone call from Brian Reinert. 657 reasons I will never spend another penny at this store. Thanks for the great customer service Brian. After posting this review I was contacted immediately by Mr. Brian Reinert and he explained in detail why I did not receive a return phone call. I believe we all made mistakes during the process of ordering this (special order door). Replacing half my deck boards, about thirty three 2x6x12s of them on Saturday. Purchased the boards from Lowes to be delivered. I always shop at my local Lowes since I live right by it. Thursday night get a message the boards can't be delivered till Monday. I cancelled my order with Lowes. Called Wehrungs Friday AM. I've never been to or shopped at this store. My dad recommended I call. They delivered all my boards my 2pm the same day for the same price as Lowes. Stacked the boards nicely in my driveway. Boards are in excellent shape.
