I went into this boutique while last-minute shopping for a graduation gift with friends. I was drawn in by the display and told them I just wanted to take a quick look. The moment I walked in, one of the workers—a woman with brown hair, around 5’5 or 5’6—started following me around the store and staring at me in an unsettling way.

I tried to brush it off, but after a few minutes, I felt so uncomfortable that I decided to leave. As I was walking out, she said, “You should take that off,” clearly referring to my hijab. Shocked, I asked her to repeat herself, thinking I must have misheard. She repeated it again: “You should take it off. There’s no point in you wearing it,” and then motioned with her body for me to leave.

My friends were waiting just outside the store and heard everything. They were just as shocked and disturbed as I was. We stood there stunned, trying to process what had just happened. All I could manage in the moment was, “Okay, thank you. Goodbye.”

This was a blatantly racist and inappropriate comment, and it left me feeling humiliated and deeply uncomfortable. If I could give this place -10 stars, I would.

Do not shop here. This business does not treat all customers with basic respect. If you don’t fit their narrow idea of who belongs, you’re made to feel unwelcome—and worse. Absolutely...

If I could give zero stars, I would. My friends and I were shopping in the area and decided to stop by this store. While two of us stayed outside, one friend went in to browse. Upon exiting, we overheard a deeply disturbing comment from one of the employees( older white woman shoulder length brown hair, around 5’5), who appeared to be instructing my friend to remove her hijab. According to my friend, the employee asked her not once, but twice to take it off—even after she asked for clarification. This behavior is absolutely unacceptable and discriminatory. I will be strongly advising others to avoid this...

1 star is too many but unfortunately that’s the minimum. My friends and I were shopping in the area today and wanted to stop by. My one friends decided to go in while myself and another friend were walking around outside. Upon my friends departure from the store we overheard a VERY unsettling comment from one of the employees. We overheard her instructing my friend to remove her hijab. To make matters worse, my friend reported that she had told her TWICE to take off her hijab, after asking for clarification. ABSOLUTELY disgusting behavior and I will be advising everyone to never shop at this...
