As a thirty year old man who has no experience with jewelry, I was in need of some guidance for an engagement ring I wanted to buy. A close family friend had recommended John Anthony. I stopped in one day and told the father and son duo what I was thinking. They couldn’t have been more helpful. Not only did they help me through the process, the educated me and explained the entirety of the ring, the diamond, the process of how it’s made. I was in there for hours talking with them both and it felt like five minutes. I had some stones from my then fiancés late father that John happily agreed to put into this ring. I put the order in and within a few weeks, I had the exact ring I was looking for and it looked amazing.

I went back for the wedding band and it was the same experience. At this point I had only met these guys a couple times, but I felt like I knew them for years. This is why it’s important to go to “mom and pop” shops, to support local businesses. I would not have gotten the experience and comfort I did if I had bought a ring at a chain or online. Engagement rings are expensive, so you want to make sure you are making the right decision. And with John Anthony, I know I did.

Along with the jewelry, they provided me the appraisals and all documents for record keeping and insurance.

I had my ring resized and watch repaired here and it was a great experience. The young staff was very friendly and took the time to explain the details. I would go here again for my jewelry needs. I highly recommend this place...
