UPDATE NOVEMBER 2022: BYOB BYOB BYOB!!!! Went there with some family the night before Thanksgiving. Everything was fresh and delicious. The service was great. There were several occupied tables in the main room and a few hibachi tables too. Food came out timely and hot. We had both Chinese and Japanese dishes. The boneless spareribs were so juicy with great flavor. The shrimp tempura was crunch and perfect. The salad with ginger dressing was crisp and delicious. The sushi boat was amazing! Very fresh and lots of fun! Ant the ice cream and spumoni desserts made for a great ending! Grabbed a quick takeout dinner. The containers were so heavy they were full to the top. Chicken & Broccoli: Lots of chicken and perfectly cooked broccoli. The sauce was really tasty. The eggplant was delicious. I'd probably ask for it spicy next time. Look forward to trying other dishes there. They also serve Japanese food (they have hibachi tables) and also sushi there so I'll try sushi next time.

Ordered a pad Thai for pickup as I’ve been a customer of this location due 35 yrs ( news owners operating now ) . Worst I’ve ever had. Was a lump of noodles fr a pot.! Soggy & sitting in a red sauce . What’s that ? I also asked when ordering for the chopped peanuts & bean sprouts .none on top of the mush pile . Truly feel like taking this to Owner & ask them to try a bite. Ck out the extra ridiculously happy reviews fr the family & employees

Nice place, the interior of the restaurant gave us good asian vibes, we saw a group book the special corner for a personal hibachi party, that looked really awesome. But food was not up to the mark except the Sushi. The Pad Thai was almost sweet and the Chicken-corn soup was very blunt. The service was okay.

I’m agreeing with one of the commenters here but also the top comment as well. So I’m giving it a 2/3. The only food we like and can order from here are their lunch specials. The prices are way too high (from the previous owners as they were my favorite of all time Shangri-La Inn), and I hadn’t brought a meal home I liked or even ate. Also trashed it. Except the Chinese lunch specials. We come back for that. They are actually delicious! But sushi - no go. Regular meals - big meals I haven’t tried. The egg rolls were dry before but the last time it was fine. And yes, the miso soup also was disgusting. I believe they are entering new territory and have to deal with customers who are used to lower prices and totally different food. If they amp up their sushi quality, and miso soup, we might be open to trying larger size meals. For now, lunch...

Fast and friendly serive, Average food, not worth the price. I ordered Shrimp and Vegetable Tempura Udon ($20) and Spicy Tuna Roll ($9)

Tempura Udon 🌕🌕🌕🌑🌑 was not cripsy even though it came right out of the kitchen. The sauce wasn't really suitable as a dipping sauce for tempura - i think it's just soy sauce. The udon was nice and hot, but not really flavorful.

( Honestly i was expecting dry cold udon with tempura, so i was kinda of thrown off getting a hot soup with udon in it)

Spicy Tuna rolll 🌕🌕🌑🌑🌑 I couldn't taste the fish as it was blended with too much spicy mayo sauce. The protion was small and the rice wasn't tightly wrapped around the sushi. I do not recommend.

Would not recommend for their tuna roll. Their Hibachi looks pretty nice with the indoor dining but i didn't get a...
