My family and I lost our grandmother this past Sunday unexpectedly. We were having the worst week leading up to her funeral, nothing was going right. We had no luck finding the colors we needed for our attire. Store after store, we just couldn’t fine what we were looking for. Until we went into Dillards. The first night, we met Sam in the men’s department. He greeted us with a smile and went over and beyond to find what my father needed. Sam even shook my father’s hand and shared his deepest condolences. He was so polite and so professional. That same night, Cecilia helped my sister and I until it was closing time. Even though we did not find what we were looking for, she asked us our sizes and the colors, “look” we wanted, she even gave us her cell number. She told us she would have some dresses put to the side for us and to call her when we were on our way. The next day, My sister had the pleasure of meeting Nita. She went over and beyond in helping my sister find her son his attire. She was such a sweetheart. We texted Cecilia that we were headed her direction, like she said, she had dresses waiting for us in the waiting room. She even asked me to sit down and she would run my transaction for me. Cecilia knew that I had a fractured foot and that I was exhausted from all the walking and standing. She was amazing. I ordered a Coach bag online for nearly $600 expecting it to be brand new, only to receive one with stains inside. I was told there was only one in stock, so I decided to exchange it in-store—only to be handed another bag in worn, scratched-up condition.
When I pointed out the poor condition of the replacement, I was told to reorder online and assured the damaged one would be pulled from the floor. I placed another online order, only to find out it was being shipped from the same store that had the damaged floor models. I called the store and was told by someone in the bag department that they had one on the floor and one marked as damaged—meaning they were knowingly sending out used or floor-model bags as new.
I asked if they could cancel the shipment so I could get a bag directly from the warehouse instead. She said she’d take down my info and have a manager call me. That manager—Michael—never called back.
Now I’m dealing with my third return, all because this store is misrepresenting used or damaged items as new. I’ve wasted time, effort, and money, and received zero accountability.

But only after wearing it just for three hours, the shoe was completely a mess so uncomfortable to wear. So when I returned the shoe again rushed to get right after work just before closing hour. The gentleman on that cash register had refused to accept any returns. After I specifically explained the returned situation. Makes no difference, he looked at me dead in my eyes said “NO NO CAN’T DO ANYTHING FOR YOU AT THIS POINT”. He left me with no chance to exchange the items. I said well sir. I can not wear this shoe, I do t want it. So I told well put on the clearance rack or you take it. The man was to happy to take the back with the receipt in the bag. On their clearance rack most shoes are worn out, with dirty sole. Some one should really look into the staff with better customer service.
