Aim welling to bet I didn't get to 1.6 million views by spreading propaganda.. WORST ER FACILITY IN AMERICA 🇺🇸 .. Was there November 20 2023 the intake Nurse was very professional and a talent.. but once I got to my ER room it went upside down 👇 quickly as the three X ray tech's at aprox 100 a hour for them thru a slide behind my back and snapped a picture of which I said ain't going to work aim only 6' 325 so bent over in a bed common sense says is a waste of time and of course with my PTSD I voiced my disappointment and sure enough wasn't long until they where back telling me we needed to take a standing x ray in different Area besides my room.. Of course I went off because they should have never wasted insurance company money on the first x ray but nowing Chi St Luke's this is how they pay for the machine same way they made tons of insurance money during COVID-19 pandemic they shut the whole hospital down to handle COVID and testing center across from the hospital and then pumped the people right into nursing homes which was the same tactic that the State of New York used and had the highest death toll in the world but by God and the Virgin Mary money was being made faster than the CARTEL'S could make it that's saying something.. Back to my visit so the x ray lead person didn't like my attitude so refused to x ray me which is a whole nother issue with this hospital there employees if you look cross eyed at them can refuse to help you and the hospital lets them .. I refuse to go to this hospital if dieing and make it know now St Luke's hospital please don't do anything for me in the future.. please see my review on how St Luke's funnels money to Catholic charities to buy debt cards for all the millions walking across the Rio Grande River in Texas 🇨🇱...
Read moreI came in with something painfully stuck in my eye after flushing it with a full bottle of contact solution and water to no relief. The front desk staff and nurses were absolutely wonderful. They were kind, helpful, and kept the mood light. I'm also grateful they accepted my VA insurance.
The downside was the doctor. He looked in my eye for less than a minute and insisted it was just a virus or allergies, even after I explained the sharp, localized pain. Later, my friend used her phone flashlight, found the object under my upper eyelid, and showed the doctor, who still said it couldn’t be causing pain. My friend ended up removing the object with a Q-tip, and my pain stopped instantly.
When we showed the doctor the object on the Q-tip, he brushed it off and said she shouldn’t have done that. While I understand there are risks, what was more concerning was how quickly my pain was dismissed and how unwilling he was to reconsider, even with visible proof.
Amazing nurses and front desk, but I hope the doctor takes patient concerns more seriously in the future. So glad I have the VA because I would be livid if I had to pay for that "doctor"...
Read moreArrived at the ER at approximately 10:00 pm with excruciating pain in my lower legs. Worst pain I had ever experienced in my life. Was told to see a lady to get checked in, which I did, taking about 20 minutes and was asked to wait until a doctor was available, which I did literally screaming in pain. All of their literature emphasizes that the most serious patients would be seen first. The next patient they called in was a 5 yr old with a snotty nose. I ask my wife to call Woodlands and they could not get me in so she called the ER at Sams. No problem, so we flew to south first. When I arrived, the young doctor gave me pain meds and contacted another doctor. They both knew I was experiencing PAD, peripheral arterial disease, a serious blockage of blood flow to my legs. Immediately calling an ambulance, I was sent to CHI Memorial. After considerable evaluation, at approximately 2:00 pm the following day, surgeons were gathered up and I was sent to surgery where my right leg was amputated above the knee. Might could have been saved if immediate attention had been given when I first came into the ER. Totally...
