The food is delicious. The brisket was tender, but not mushy, flavorful, but not smokey. It was perfect.

The potato salad was like nothing I've had before. I really liked it.There were some bigger pieces that I had to cut with a fork, but if they were smaller, then the salad would lose shape.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! A place using shells in mac-n-cheese and not using those spiral pastas that are in vogue now, but don't hold sauce. Delicious. Excellent texture and cheese to shell ratio.

I had no idea what to expect out of the unusual Tres Leches, but it was good, and a neat menu item. I discovered that personally, I'm a traditionalist on that dessert. However, I didn't know that until I tried a good non-traditional one.

I'll be back. I'm bringing Dad who wants some 'fat brisket'. Whatever that is.

We had a bad experience with the attitude of one of the men working. It was as if I was bothering him asking what was on the Saturday plate deal, he said “All the meat for the day” … great! So to confirm I asked if it came with the beef rib too? “No not the beef rib.” So it’s not everything then but that didn’t matter, it was his attitude and arrogance that came with the experience. This place has the best bbq, only place that comes close is Terry blacks in waco. This place not only has bbq beef ribs and they do it right . We were lucky because they had boudan sausage. We had their burnt brisket ends,regular sausage, sliced brisket and mac and cheese. If you were raised Texan like us than you will understand when I say fork tender sweet and savory. I was brought up if the meat needs sauce then it's no good so I don't use any and it didn't need need but everyone that did try the sauce said It too was good.
