Always LONG lines, which means LONG wait times. It's almost as if it's intentional? Now, the pharmacy actually closes for a lunch break of all things? A LUNCH BREAK????? Are the pharmaceutical industries so bad off that they can't afford to pay employees to fill in during lunchtime? Or do they intentionally add stress to an already stressful situation? Medical care and pharmaceuticals have gotten WAY out of control, and i, for one, have QUIT the medical field all together. I refuse to go to the dr or hospital. Not playing their ridiculous game, and until we all decide we've had enough, they will continue to abuse us! If I get sick, I research my remedy and do it myself. And now I have no stress, and my pocketbook is also better off. Not to mention, I am SO MUCH MORE HEALTHY, since I took my medical care back and started learning how to deal with and handle things which keep me healthy and do away with things in my life, that dont. No more fast foods, processed foods, and unhealthy foods are out the window for me now. And life is so much better for it! I'm happier and healthier than ever now! U should try...
Read moreWalgreen's, Lufkin Avenue, Lufkin, Texas pharmacy department has serious problems particularly in the areas of refills and drive thru lines. I have waited in line for 30 minutes and longer on several occasions particularly in afternoon and evening hours. Much time seems to be spent with many of the drivers appearing to encounter problems as I have. In addition, I have arrived on two occasions to pick up refills that I was notified by text to be ready for refill and cannot be found by the technicians. I have complained to the pharmacist. He appears to be a nice man who realizes they do not have enough help to handle the influx of customers. I would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone. Today, when they could not find my refills, one female technician actually raised her voice to me. I am tired of the frequent frustrating experiences being encountered at this pharmacy. I will look for another and I advise you to stay xclear of Walgreen's, Lufkin Avenue,...
Read moreI came to the pharmacy on Saturday to transfer a prescription from a hospital pharmacy to Walgreens. The guy took all of the information and told me it would probably be a few hours. I had enough of this medicine to not need to go back that day and since I was about to head to work in was inconvenient to do so. I come back today, and they haven’t even heard of it and have no idea what I’m talking about. So I go through the transfer process again and ask them to please call me If there’s any problems or the medicine is ready. After not hearing from them in 5 hours I give them a call to only find that “it’s on hold because of not having insurance information.” I simply gave her my Tricare ID number and she let me know to give them about 30min to an hour and they’d have that filled. Really annoying since I don’t just live right down the road from Walgreens. Definitely going to look into switching pharmacy’s! Get your life together...
