Fresh Foods IGA — Local services in Lumberton

Came here on may 7th and I most definitely won't be returning to this location. I visited this store on May 7th at 12pm. The experience was very odd to me. The little girl cashier was blatenly talking about customers right in their faces and another older lady was also laughing out loud about it, with ALSO a young guy instigating as well. People come here to shop, and spend money not be talked about in their faces! This behavior is disgusting and very inappropriate! With a reviewer with 120k plus views... take my advice and avoid this ghetto location. All 3 need to be removed from the store. Is this how IGA wants to be represented!? Corperate will hear about...

Awful employees. There was two girls at one cash register and one was just talking to the other. When they were ringing me up she thought that I was listening to her conversation (I wasn't) so then she turned around to the register girl behind her and said "omg some people are so nosy, I wish they would mind their business but I need this job because I just bought a new car" well first off you're not supposed to be talking about personal issues on the job and secondly if you talk really loudly don't expect people not to hear you! This is a post for my grandmom. She enjoys shopping here because it is small, all the staff have been nothing but kind and patience with her, she has difficulty walking and they assist her putting groceries in her car if she needs and with taking the electronic cart back to the store for her. You can find too much compassion in this world anymore like you can here. She specifically mentions an employee named Joe! Please tell him we appreciate what he does when she goes...
