My kids wanted to come here and I offered to drive because gas is so pricey and to make their lives a little easier. They are located about 1 hour from where we live but it was definitely worth the trip coming down. We arrived a few minutes before they opened and went inside right after the door was unlocked. It's not a very large store but they have quite an extensive collection of products. One of my kids was looking to possibly get a pair of boots and they carry Demonias (sp¿). My other kid was looking for a couple of outfits for an upcoming date. We went through all the boots and the only pair that was truly of interest wasn't available in their size so we opted to wait on those. My other kid on the other hand was able to find an outfit that they were happy with along with a couple of corsets. In the end they also bought some patches.
The store has quite the variety of clothes for anyone especially if you are looking for something Goth or alternative. At my age I wasn't looking to buy anything but I did see quite a few things that I would have considered 40 or so years ago. Prices are right in line with what is expected for this type of merchandise so we were completely satisfied. There were a couple of employees there who were actually very helpful when I had questions for them. Check out was really easy. I can guarantee you that my kids will be back here for more products...
Read morePretty decent place. They have a nice selection of clothing from coats, corsets/bodices/girdles, to shoes/boots, masks and accessories. Goth and Steampunk and other "edgy stuff" can also be found.
Ive been in 3 times so far and each time theres usually about 2 or more other customers in the store so its definitely visited.
The only reason I rated it 4 stars was because of 1 staff member that was a bit pushy and a bit, condescending. The other two times I was there the staff were very helpful, friendly, even chatty and suggesting similar items once we started conversing.
Theres this one young lady who is a bit on the shorter side. Shes absolutely an asset there. She jumps to help you out, finding sizes you need or adjusting the fits. She also lets you know when they next replenishment is coming so they can try to get you what you want if you aremt seeing it.
Its been a pleasant experience overall and we've made a few purchases that we enjoy...
Read moreRead about this place years ago and wanted to check it out, but never got around to it until the other day with my boyfriend and his sister. Anarchist Closet had permanently closed and I was so upset and remembered about this place, it was so great, I had thought I was like a alternative thrift store, but everything is new there besides a few gently used items! I was so excited, instead of having to find awesome clothes online and pay shipping and waiting for it, I just drove to Tampa and bam! The girls at the front were so helpful and let us know about the place since it wasn’t our first time. One girl even made the mini pins that were in the container at the front too. They even sold these handmade bat plushies made from The Occasional Bat. They had all different styles and even mini ones with catnip in them and dog ones too. We definitely got the mini catnip ones! Can’t wait to go back and get...
