Kudos to the Bakery Department, particularly Mercedes, the associate who took down my cake order and Brenda, the cake decorator. I had a specific idea in mind, I explained in detail to Mercedes what my vision was for this cake. I even had a photo on my phone and showed Mercedes what I was looking for. Mercedes came up with the idea of taking a picture of the photo with her own phone and then showing it to Brenda the following morning. She instructed me to call in the morning and speak with Brenda and to see if this would at all be possible. I did just that. Both ladies were incredibly pleasant and Brenda without hesitation said "of course we can do that", which made my whole day. In addition I had ordered cupcakes, with a specific theme. Brenda went as far as adding touches from her own personal supply at home that she new the store did not have in stock. The finished product was nothing less than gorgeous. I was asked all night were the cake came from and who did it. To say that I was incredibly pleased with the end result is understatement. I love this grocery store and they've recently redecorated and made it look really nice! They have an awesome healthy foods section to the left of the beautiful produce section, always reliably organized, which I love because I don't have to search the entire store for gluten free and other specialty items, etc. like you do in some stores (the salted chocolate covered almonds are SO good, and they have the best organic corn grits that I have never found anywhere else). The aisles are wide and well organized. I have never felt stressed by the crowds like another local grocery chain, and they don't hog the aisles stocking in the middle of the day. The prices are good. Great fresh roast chickens and other tasty quick dinner options. Decent large public bathrooms at the far left corner of the store. The cashiers and deli clerks are nice, helpful too. They have a self checkouts and I never have to wait long. Plus they have a bank in store that, last time I checked, was open on Saturdays. My experience with this particular store is very pleasant. There are several employees who always go above and beyond to help me when needed. I don't remember all of them by name but the following staff always go above and beyond to help me:Tony at the bakery love your fresh croissants, sometimes I even turn back to go and get me a few😋. At the front Scott, Vivian, Peter, Donna, Patricia, Hancel and Kevin always with a smile and a welcoming/ professional demeanor. All the staff at the produce department thank you! I personally want to thank them for their positivity and smiles specially early in the morning when I go in to shop. Often times good service goes unnoticed and underappreciated. A welcoming a friendly aspect makes all the difference in the world. This is true customer service. Keep up the great work guys!
