I recommend no stars. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!

I chose this floral, assuming this floral was located close to my family. Unfortunately, after reviewing the reviews, this was not the case. This experience has been the most frustrating experience I have had in my lifetime.

The initial contact was pleasant. The customer service personnel took my order and assured me my order would be delivered on the 24th of December; however, if not, the 25th of December. I also stated to them due to the condition of my mom; I would like the flowered delivered in the morning as early as possible so she would enjoy them.

I called customer service to inquire about my delivery and was left on hold with no explanation; the representative put me on hold and simply did not return. I called back about 30 minutes later and spoke with another representative; however, this representative gave me a standard reply about their failed delivery. The representative stated that they had until the 27th to deliver the flowers, which was not stated at the initial purchase.

It is the 27th of December, and the delivery has not happened. I received a call from Ava's Floral today stating that they do not have the red roses I ordered and would like to replace them with another rose color. I stated to the representative that I would like my order delivered immediately in order to cut ties with this organization.

I do not like leaving a poor review. I prefer to communicate and talk with the owners and management to work out any issues. Unfortunately the owner/manager did not work with me. I called this shop multiple times over the course of a week with no returned calls. I left multiple messages with my phone number for a return call and received no call back.

My flowers were ordered for same day delivery. My boyfriend was insured I would receive them same day, and paid extra to do so. It was my birthday, and I had never recieved flowers before, and he new this and wanted to make it special for me. He had never gifted flowers before either so it was supposed to be a special moment for us both. Instead I receive a phone call ruining the surprise asking if I was going to be at work at a certain time. And then requesting a home address for the flowers to be delivered. I told her I would stay late to receive them at work, which was his intention and she agreed and said would call me again to verify. She never called and then they weren't delivered at all. I did not receive them until the next day, and my boyfriend was not refunded his same day delivery charge.

This whole experience was frustrating. The flowers were gorgeous and well put together and lasted so long. But the beauty of them was ruined by poor customer service and failure to communicate. This whole review and experience could have been made up by a simple phone call from management or the owner to clear things up. This was not done.

Vanessa and her team are simply the best! I first found A Touch of Glover on Facebook, and as soon as I had messaged asking about prom flowers and Vanessa replied, I knew she was the one for my floral needs! She helped me decide What would be just right for my son’s date, helping me match her dress, her style, etc. Her price was great, but her service was even better! Oh, and the flowers were perfect! From first stepping into the shop and being greeted like an old friend, I was sold! I’ve since been following her business on social media and as soon as I needed flowers again, Vanessa is who I called. The new store is really stunning. On my recent last-minute visit to pick up a boutonnière for my daughter’s Sadie Hawkins date, Vanessa gave me a tour, and I could see her pride and excitement in growing her business to better meet the needs of her clients. She is filled with a true spirit of service through her art of flowers. Honestly, her posts of arrangements being made for memorial and funeral services always feel like a little prayer moment to me when I see them on social media. I can tell Vanessa’s heart goes into her flowers and she is blessing families with something beautiful on days that feel so dark.
