Fanboy Collectibles & Comics — Local services in Macon

They have alot of cool things but are INSANE overpriced. I compared several of their statues/figures to find that you can buy most of the same things on amazon for HALF the price they are asking. Im not kidding. HALF. For example they had a SS4 Gogeta for $100. Its $45 on amazon. A Krillin they want $50 for. $25 on amazon. I have also seen it at FYE for $25. I would price check anything before you buy here.

P.S. The arrogant “I suggest you shop there” comment on this review doesnt do much for how ppl will view this establishment and suggests the owner is incapable of handling any criticism. Not a good look. Its not “thinking” they are overpriced. Its a fact. When even Barnes and Noble doesnt have as significant of a markup as you then you have a problem. Nevermind Amazon, even FYE beats your prices, charging half of yours on some of the exact same items. Also dont worry, I will shop at amazon. And will encourage everyone within my reach (which is more than you may expect) to do the same and will steer them towards the competition instead.

Edit: Checked their prices again. They ate charging $200 for a piece that you can easily find for around $80. Let...

2.5 stars because it is a nice place with some of what you’d expect and plenty of other novelties you wouldn’t. I felt quite uncomfortable in there with my kids not because they are wild but because it seemed we were constantly watched even in the sections more kid friendly. I honestly wished I hadn’t bought anything but my kids found something each couldn’t live without. The lady was nice and greeted, the guy seemed to follow us and never said anything to us. However while checking out the guy in front of us with his son got great pleasantries from the guy behind the counter and invited to a comic show; we step up and no mention of comic show, simply no pleasantries from the guy behind the counter. The lady at least thanked us for coming in to which my my kids thanked her back. First and last time, not from selection or uniqueness of the store but I just didn’t feel my business was wanted, never even got an offer for help...

New collector here and Fanboy is the reason! Not only do they have an amazing selection of comics that are well priced but the "dollar" table has some fantastic treasures waiting to be found. The owners are friendly and knowledgeable and eager to assist in finding that one thing you're looking for. Great selection of trading cards and gaming table as well as action figurines and sets. Can't wait to go back and add to my growing comic book collection! Never knew that besides that normal superhero/villian fare, there are Stephen King comics, Anne Rice comics, Laurel K. Hamilton comics and Leonard Nemoy/Isaac Asimov comics as well. Have to admit to picking up some Aquaman and Gambit's as well. If you're in the area and looking for a great comic / card shop, stop in.
