Hobii House — Local services in Madeira

My first visit to Hobii House was over the summer, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite local spots. My partner and I recently got back into Pokémon, and we were really happy with our experience here. The inventory was well-stocked, prices were fair, and the staff even checked current market prices instead of just going by the sticker — which was really appreciated.

We’ve learned that not every card shop gives off a great vibe, but Hobii House absolutely does. The store is clean, organized, and the people working there actually care about making it a good experience. It’s also one of the few stores I follow on Facebook because they’re always posting updates about new stock, events, and community stuff.

Since that first visit, we’ve been back a bunch of times, and it’s been consistently great. Their trade nights are well attended and super friendly, and they even hosted a food drive recently to help with food waste from the McDonald’s promo issue in Japan — which just shows how much they care.

Not many card stores go out of their way to make sure customers are happy, but Hobii House really does. Can’t recommend this...

This is hands down the best card shop I have ever stepped foot in. They have the highest trade-in values of any shop in the area 70% is absolutely amazing. They are so friendly they actually care about the customer. They seem more interested in the customers satisfaction than they do making a profit. I promise you you will never have a bad experience in this store I know this from experience. So pack up the kids and family and head to hobbii house for the best TCG experience around!!!!? 😊👍

Friendly staff, nice looking shop. The only problem is that they aren’t getting stock from suppliers. They are reselling stuff bought from target. Essentially ruining collecting and selling what could have been bought from target for 30% more than what it MSRP’s at. Basically just a scalp shop. It is what it is. I just don’t support the business practice. (They replied to the comment and denied scalping. I’ve seen the owners at target waiting in line for restocks) don’t like that...
