We live in Fort Wayne, IN and made a day trip to Cincinnati for some shopping. We are glad we found this gem. We came here for dinner. Food is good and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Quick service. We ordered Paneer samosa, samosa chaat, chicken biryani, chicken ginger, and chicken tikka. Food was served piping hot. Biryani had vegetables in it but it tasted amazing! We asked for spicy which was perfect. The tikka was surprisingly different. We didn’t realise it had a vegetable sauce. We expected Pakistani style chicken tikka. The chicken wasn’t barbecued or charcoaled but it didn’t taste bad. It was something different for us because it wasn’t the Pakistani style tandoori chicken but honestly it was still delicious. We packed everything to go for our drive back home. My husband ordered the chai and he loved it. We got mango juice for my toddler which brought me back to my childhood lol. Also, the naans were excellent!! They were so soft and flavourful. We ordered three types: cheese, hot, and garlic. They were so hot and buttery soft, fresh straight from the oven. For dessert, we got gulab jamun. They were so delicious that we ordered a second serving! The decor is very classy and innovative. Love the beautiful jasmines on the floor tiles. What a beautiful homage to Desi culture. The tiffins decorated on the wall also reminded me so much of home. All in all, excellent food and ambience and all the staff were so nice, gentle,...
Read moreStopped by Masala Theory with friends on a Saturday evening and it was such a vibe! Great food and even better atmosphere.
The food was immaculate and honestly underpriced for the taste and experience. We ordered Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Saag, Butter Chicken and the MT special Chicken (weekend only special) with naans and rice. All the dishes were at spice level 3 and it was perfection, we got all the flavours without the heat taking over. The MT special was hands down the groups favorite, truly giving us reminders of grandmas homemade curry chicken. The Butter Chicken and Saag Chicken were as expected, creamy and delicious! The naan were fluffy and freshly cooked.
The atmosphere was giving modern Indian. The art work is beautiful and a true representation of modern Indian culture. The bathrooms were clean and even had a bidet!
The service was also great. Our server was quick and checked in on us multiple times, he was kind and funny making small talk. We had no issues with our order. The food was out a decent time after ordering, it came piping hot.
Overall highly recommend stopping by...
Read moreFirst time we tried this newly opened Indian restaurant in Madeira, tucked away on Camargo. It is apparently owned by the same folks who own Delhi Palace in Silverton. We were there on a Saturday night with a reservation and took the next to the last table in what is a fairly small restaurant.
The cuisine is authentic Indian, but as they describe it, "with a contemporary vision". We shared Vegetable Samosas and the Sabaz Chicken with a side of Naan. We drank Indian chai and had the dessert, Gulab Jamun. We felt the food was better than most Indian that we have had elsewhere in Cincinnati. The ambience was cool, quiet and a little darker - a welcome change from so many other similar establishments. The staff that we met were exceptionally nice and warm.
We like to explore an ethnic option maybe once a month or so, and Indian is a favorite - we will definitely...
