I went in there on Friday afternoon to get my nephew a first communion gift. There were I believe 2 women that were working in there. They were talking with a woman who I believe was a customer. I came into the store, no acknowledgment at all. I wondered around the store as I had never been there before and I had no idea where anything was. The place is jam packed full of stuff and no signage to help you find what you are looking for. Neither of the women asked if they could help me find anything even after I was wondering all over the store looking. I ended up just getting a card. When I went to checkout, the women just continued to talk and were oblivious of my presence. Finally the younger girl came over to the cash register. The only interaction with her was what the price was, I paid and she gave me my change. She asked if I wanted a bag and I declined. That was it. No thank you, no did you find everything ok. The Catholic Shop has a well stocked CD and DVD collection, but no Gregorian Chant music, which would have been nice addition.They have a variety of pre-Vatican II books, a lot of Catholic art and picture frames at reasonable prices, and items for First Holy Communion and the other Sacraments.
The store staff were very helpful and friendly, which made it easy to shop there. Parking is on the street in downtown Madeira. Will definitely visit...

Only complaints are that it was a little cluttered and also a but pricey- I found the same book on Amazon for about ~$8 less.
