I am not one for doing reviews, but being a business owner myself I had to write one. I have to say my experience with Mike felt like a partnership from the get go. Mike and Young Bowling & Trophy is one of my customers. He call us looking for our product. I made a delivery to him and from the moment I walked in door I knew this was going to be something special. We began to talk business and I felt like I have known this man for years. I have been back to see Mike many times since my first experience. Mike is so knowledgeable I had to pick his brain. I brought in my favorite laid out ball, my previous drill sheet measurements and one of my many undrilled bowling balls. This is where Mike does his magic! He looked at my drilled ball looked at my drill sheet did some measuring and said there is something wrong here. I said what’s up Mike. He said your drill sheet doesn’t match your ball at all. I said what?? Things don’t match up. Right then and ther I said Mike I trust you. Drill me this new ball to the same drill pattern as my old ball. He said your old ball is a asymmetrical and the new one is symmetrical but I can do this. So Mike proceeded to take measurements off the old ball and draw on the new ball. I said Mike I’m having a wrist and thumb issue. He says let me see what you have going on. I said Mike this is your ball to do what you think is best to help me out. He is like are you sure . I said of course. Fix me up. I tell you the changes he suggested were absolutely spot on. Mike made the entire process for me the most enjoyable experience I have had in many many years. My first night out with the ball I shot a 209, respectable score for first time using it. The proceeded to get comfortable with the ball and shot 268,266 for a nice 743 series. No thumb pain, no wrist issue. This man is a genius. If you are I need of bowling equipment and haven’t bowled in a few years I suggest you go see Mike and get a refit. You will not be disappointed. For me owning my own business and also working a customer service job during the day hours. This man knows how to give great customer service and a great experience. I was going to give 5 stars because he helped me design this so it was exactly what i wanted!!

4 stars - When he complained for a while about the people that didnt give him 5 stars... you cost yourself a star by complaining for 15 minutes about getting a couple 4 star reviews. You knew the names of the people that gave you bad reviews off the top of your head, get over it, im sure you deserved them, just like this one. If you want good reviews, do good work... on time!

3 stars - When i called you on Friday (over a week later) the day YOU said it would be done, and it wasn’t - but you would have it done for me by Monday. That you would make sure it was done over the weekend.

2 stars - I came in Monday and surprise... not done but you said they would be ready Wednesday because your ‘other guy’ is still learning the job.

1 star- Because it’s Wednesday night, i come into the shop and still not done or even started!!

My wife and I just got our first balls and wooooow what an incredible experience! From the second I walked in I was treated with the utmost care. I rarely review but Mike and Young bowling deserve it! I have been a house ball 160s average for the last few years and decided to finally get a ball. Mike took the time to understand my form, ball path and many other things before even giving a suggestion. Went with the Hammer purple pearl 16# and omg what a game changer. Threw a 670 series with a new high score of 257 on my first night with the ball. Mike was insanely friendly, and made the entire process for me enjoyable.
