So Snooty!

We came ready to spend, but from the moment we walked in, there was an air of snootiness that continued throughout our visit.

The girl working behind the counter didn't even acknowledge us.

Not once throughout our visit were we asked if we needed anything. The employees and what we guessed might be the owner, were too busy with their own conversations to be bothered by customers.

When I did ask about an item, I was met with a curt response.

Upon checking out, we were informed that their card system was down. My friend very sweetly asked, if we'd need to pay cash. We received an extremely snippy response about the methods they currently had available that ended with, "I'm sorry, there is nothing else we can do!"

We were all taken aback by the attitude and defensiveness as we were fine with paying cash.

I purchased several items, but instead of the cute shopping bags they had, my things were shoved into what looked like a packaging bag from one of their shipments. See Photo

I'm all about supporting small business. My family ran a department store for many years and if any of our customers were treated the way we were today, we would have been horrified.
