The store was very clean. But the staff was seriously rude! They need some special needs training. It broke my heart. We went to your store to grab some things for tonight's stay as we are traveling through. While we were checking out a kid was having a total complete melt down. The child was screaming at the top of his lungs. He was yelling. The mom and dad just stood their with their head down. My cashier kept laughing, cashiers near by were making rude comments. Even the customers were making rude comments. I said very loudly to my cashier and people behind me. This kid was having a melt down from being autistic. When we left the store the dad approached us and apologized. We told the dad he didn't need to apologize that we understand. The poor dad had probably assumed we said something smart because he quickly snapped back, "He doesn't understand what he's doing, he's autistic". We had to repeat it again that we understood and he didn't need to apologize. A man who looked embarrassed looked relieved. If more workers knew the signs of autism then less parents wouldn't be as stressed to take their children grocery shopping....
Read moreThis store is infested with Cockroaches they have known about it for at least a week and have done nothing. My wife is a former employee (she just quit today) and brought roaches home from work with her. W hen we went to confront the managers about the issue they denied it ever happened then when confronted with the fact that the team lead told us they knew for at least a week they banned us from the store. I can’t stress enough the many reasons why you shouldn’t shop here. Not only because of the roach issue but also the multiple times they have had sewage coming out of their drains in the deli, bakery, meat department, and produce sections of the store. They advertise fresh food but half the time the things you get from the deli have long passed the expiration date. Not to mention the horrible management that has no clue what they are doing I would go as far to say that children could run the store better because the managers act...
Read moreI was in a rush to deliver food to sick church members. I wanted something out of the Deli and there wasn't a clerk to help. A sign said the deli clerk was on break for 20 minutes. Not giving a time they left. They lost several customers that got tired of waiting. I finally got something other than the Deli. I worked in a successful grocery store for 20 years. That would have NEVER have happened. The customer always was put first. Another sad thing and not only Krogers the employees don't tell the customers thank you. I checked myself out so I can't speak to a clerk not saying thank you. If you want to have happy customers that return the customers need to be...
