I never post reviews online but people should be careful of this pharmacy. Specifically the HyVee on Whitney Way. I had back surgery a couple of years ago and the pharmacist refused to fill the order from my doctors for pain medication. She claimed that the amount was irresponsible and required the doctor to call her directly to explain why they wrote the prescription. During the time it took to straighten it out, I got behind on the pain meds and had excruciating pain for hours. When they finally filled the order they also gave me an anti overdose drug.
Then recently one of the pharmacy employees has made strange comments about the dosage of one of my medications and I’m certain has filled it with a lower dose than what’s been prescribed. I don’t have any way to prove that but after I switched to Walgreens it’s obvious that whatever dose they gave me at HyVee was wrong.

Two weeks ago I had to wait in a long line for almost 20 minutes to pick up my auto refill prescriptions. A couple different times while I was waiting I watched the same two pharmacy staff walk into the office to have what seemed like heated conversations. Read moreI tried refilling two different prescriptions here. The first time, it went a week in “pending” status and literally timed out. The second time I submitted them, I ended up calling after 5 days and they told me that they couldn’t fill it because they were waiting on doctor approval.
Don’t expect any sort of communication from them. I resolved the issue in 10 minutes once I was aware of it, but they’re not going to go out of the way to pick up a phone and tell you there’s an issue, so be prepared to do...
